Carol Sue Bragg Long, 65, former Laramie resident, died at home in Needles, Calif., of a heart attack, 24 June 2010.

She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Ainsworth, Neb., a daughter of Louis and Mildred Bragg. Her family moved to Laramie in 1952.

She attended the University of Wyoming, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and a Master’s of Education in educational administration. She was also a Wyoming licensed cosmetologist.

She taught sixth grade in Killeen, Texas and Mohave Valley, Ariz., as well as kindergarten, fourth grade and sixth grade in Laramie. She retired from the Mohave Valley School System in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Niel Nordmann.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Davis; and her grandchildren, Travis, Casey and Brian all of Silt, Colo.; and her sisters, Georgia Matti of Gillette and Ruth Bragg of Spokane, Wash.
