
Warren S. McLennan III, 60, died Monday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Warren Shelton McLennan III was born May 16, 1945 to Warren S. and Joanna (Strayhorn) McLennan II in Dodge City, KS. He graduated from Laramie High School, Laramie, Wyoming. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wyoming, and a Master's Degree at the Air Force Academy in Denver, CO. He retired as Major in 1988, after serving twenty years in the United States Air Force. He had currently been a pilot instructor for Flight Safety at Altus Air Force Base. He married Susan Enriguez in San Jose, CA, and to this union three sons were born. He later married Margaret Beach. He was a life member of the Butch O'Neil VFW Post 4876, Altus, OK and the Wendy Trails Golf Course. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his wife, Margaret, of the home, three sons, Warren James McLennan of High Point, NC, Wesley Jon McLennan and wife Christine of Lier, Belguim; William Jeffrey McLennan and wife Stacy of Columbus, OH; two step-daughters, Cindy Judy and husband Doug of Summerville, SC, Tony Hardy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; thre step-sons, Charles Kinny Faulling, John Eddie Faulling and wife Debbie, William Billie Faulling all of Summerville, SC; one sister, Diana Carr and husband Lee of Hot Springs, SD, one aunt, Juanita Caudell Smith of Blanco, TX; two uncles, Warren Strayhorn and wife Mildred, Leroy Strayhorn and wife Roberta all of Llano, TX; two nephews Brian Carr of Orange Grove, TX; Kevin Carr of Rapid City, SD; and many special cousins including James Caudell and wife Debbie of Blanco, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial be sent to Butch O'Neil VFW Post 4876, Altus, OK or the American Cancer Society.
