"Sorry to learn that Monty Ryff Whitmore (LHS Class of '63) passed peacefully this morning at 7 am at Billings, Montana.  I (Jan) have so many good memories of Monty from my 4-H days.  Monty was diagnosed mid-August with stage 4 liver cancer, and entered the Hospice facility on Saturday.  Her sister Lara said that up until Monty's diagnosis, she had felt great and had no symptoms otherwise.  She said Monty always seemed to be doing healthy things and enjoyed life and the outdoors so much.  Monty will have no funeral services.  Cards may be sent to Monty's husband Fred Whitmore at 818 Rimrock Road, Billings, MT 59102.  I (Jan) also have addresses for her children Derick Whitmore and Natalie Winninger if you would like them."

Bev:  I know that she used to live in Cody, WY.
