Life is good! Been married over 38 years now to the most wonderful man which makes every day special. I thought I would slow down in retirement but I seem to be busier than ever. Of course, family comes first. All of our kids and grand kids love to hang with us...they think we are party animals, but it's often hard to keep up with them. We’ve added 2 great grand daughters Leila Marisol 11/12/13 and Anahí Lisbeth 10/20/20 to the family. Mom made 103 and passed in 2021. I am thankful that they enjoy our company and are willing to eat, drink and travel with us, at least until Covid changed our lives. What free time I have is now spent painting.

I'm busy with Alumni activities...Avenue of Giants, Athletic Hall of Fame, Directory, reunions, and newsletters. For the past few years, I've been on the Kentfield-Greenbrae Historical Society Board, planning the Centennial and promoting a fabulous book on the history of the area. Friends, old and new, play an important role in my life. Not everyone is in perfect health so I spend a lot of time being available for them. My peace and quiet come with watercolor painting which has become my latest passion. It is very satisfying and I'm actually improving, having had paintings in the Marin County Fair and other exhibits, recently receiving the Ruth Alexander Reward for my "Homage to Mom" painting in the Marin County Watercolor Society Exhibit in the Corte Madera library.
