I met Dave at Redwood and had several classes with him. He was a very caring young man who always took a minute to say hello. His presence brought an air of tolerance to the school.
It's time to add something special about this wonderful man, husband and father. He gave me my most precious gift, our daughter Alicia, now 47, with two kids of her own, Carlos 20 and Sofia 16. We dated for five years, meeting as sophomores at Redwood, marrying the day after Christmas, his birthday, in 1963. Dave was was a kind, gentle, creative and sensitive person, not unlike his grandson who reminds me so much of him. I cherish the memories of our short time together.
