Marvin (Steve) Stephens

I have been living in San Anselmo since 1972 and working various jobs until becoming a handyman around 1985. Never married. Hobbies and interests include running, antique cars and cycles, cats, gardening/cacti collecting, antique collecting and more. After a year at College of Marin I joined the Air Force for a four year tour returning to College of Marin afterwards. Attended UC Davis for two years, graduating in 1970 with a BS in Agricultural Engineering. Moved to Modesto and worked for two years as a project engineer for General Foods. Returned to Marin after being laid off and have been here since and working various jobs including firefighter then a handyman.
Note: My photos below are the finish line of the 1961 Dipsea and the 2010 Dipsea. Still going strong in my running, a lifelong interest that started in high school. Unfortunately my productive and fun running has ended from "getting too slow due to age". No more Dipsea races for me which I will truly miss. The past 6 years I have been a volunteer for Marin Humane at "Kitty Corner".
