Hi all - I have been sitting back and reading all the chatter. Angie - Tell the girls there are CHEESEHEADS in Wisconsin that are very proud of them.... My son Kollin has his 1st JV football game tonite (freshman took conference last yr). This boy is football 24/7. He is starting as Defensive Tackle(he is 5'10"/245lbs)and frequently gets double teamed. I can't wait to see the game the boys have been working hard and the school they are playing has the Varsity State Champs! It should be interesting.

I will try and jump on chat when we get home, it is a 2 hour ride down by Milwaukee.

jeri,, sorry to see that your boys lost out in the u.s. championship game,,, too bad, they were heart broken,,, but they lost too the world champs,2 place in the states is not to shaby,,,congrats too them....

well ash went out and bought ro a new car,, for our anniversary,(28) ford fusion sport is the one we choose,, did not use the cash for clunkers that was offered to us all,,, we didnt want to put any more burden on the taxpayers of the u.s.a.,,, ash pays his own way baby,,,we traded in our ford expedition that we bought brand new in 99,,, we keep our cars a long time,,,,after making the deal and they asked me too clean out the expedition,, it was hard too let it go,,,i sit in it and thanked it for taking care of us these last ten years,,, it raised the family,,, did not ever let me down,,,did not ever get me stranded, did not ever fail me,,ever,, ok a tune up every so often but that has to be done,, it was sad too see it just sitting their by its self not moving knowing that it may be heading to the scrap pile,,, hope not,,does anyone else fill the same way about their ole reliable car that got them through for so many years,,,, remember ash says he pays his own way,, well not so fast,,, i will take donations if you want to sit in it,, ash out

Thanks for the nice words for our boys from San Antonio. They are getting a river parade on Sunday - very exciting!!

I know what you mean about the car! I too just gave up my 99 Expedition - loved it! It is very difficult to drive by and see it sitting after taking such good care of it for the past 11 years (bought mine in 1998). Enjoy the new vehicle!! Talk with you soon.

Ashley, You are one hell of a husband! Grandkids and a new car? Your mid life crisis is next! Or did you already pass that up-HA HA!

Jeri, So sad about the team but as we see it what a ride those boys have had. They will still be flying high a month from now. We just bought all the dvd's of the games. Not looking forward to watching the ones we lost but at least we can say we have them 20 years from now and Kenzee can show her kids what a stud she was.

So what is the deal about trading in your 99 Fords? Husband has a 99 Ford F250 Diesel that he will not get rid of. It is really nice I will admit and it has done some heavy boat and 5th wheel hauling but he will not part with it. I on the other hand get itchy every couple of years for a new car. Still saving for my next car though, a Dodge Charger w/hemi. Red of course with sun roof and big wheels. I am taking donations if you want to help out so I can get it quicker.

Only 5 weeks left til the reunion. See ya soon!
