Janie, such a lady!! JK Why didn't you call Brendhan?

No one seems to be commenting on the uber geek video I posted, so here's an OMG cool guitar:

I'm getting a Wii Fit for Father's Day - how about you guys?

06/11/08 02:54 PM #461

Chris Wallace

No one's commenting on it because 1) it's mildly funny at best, and (2) WAY too long. I could only watch a few minutes of it (that's the world we're livin' in, dude).

Messin' with ya (not really).

No worries. I'll just fire up my campaign posters for class clown and I'll win this thing yet.

(Anyone remember that?)

Brendhan Pelot (Pelot)

Careful there Walt, you are stepping in Wally's territory with the class clown gig... ;-)

06/12/08 09:27 AM #464

Chris Wallace

Uh no...Sharon Bee was the one who was putting up campaign posters, not this guy! And I honestly thought she would win because she was the total OPPOSITE of class clown, so why not vote for her?!

06/12/08 10:56 AM #465

Janie Hott (Kintz)

Wow... Sharon Bee, wonder where she is today? Walt - go find her.

Brian Cross

I think that Sharon is now Sharon Bee Cheng, a senior analyst of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), an independent group that advises Congress on issues concerning Medicare. I believe that she lives in Vienna, VA. I do know that she was once someone's phone-a-friend on Who Wants to be a Millionaire - true story - and I'm sure she gave the correct answer.

Walt, maybe we shouldn't have been joking about her prom date's age in that morning-after group photo you posted - she may be our best hope to have affordable medical care as we continue to deteriorate over the years.

06/12/08 05:27 PM #467

Walter Yarbrough

Yeah, I saw a Sharon Bee in Vienna. Does anyone recall if she had a brother? Because this is Sharon Bee Cheng's brother: And, before anyone snickers, the man is holding a model of his monster truck, which he races with and competes for a living. So, gotta tip my cap to him. Gotta love getting paid for doing something you love.

Long ago, I left a message for Sharon Bee Cheng regarding the reunion but she hasn't called me back and, obviously, hasn't created a profile. If anyone here is friends with her, nudge her to do so. :)

Actually, if you're friends with anyone who hasn't created a profile, nudge them too! Everyone has either been contacted via phone or mail (well, except for the class fugitive!) so they should already know about the reunion...but may need a little prodding to create a profile.

Hey Wendy,

Is the missing classmates list accurate or have you found everyone from that list?

06/13/08 07:37 AM #471

Wendy Cubbison (Huybrechts)

The Missing Classmate list has been updated. If anyone has information for those people, let me know.

Thanks!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Wallace, you ok? After the Lakers' historic collapse last night, I just want to make sure you didn't try to hurt yourself or others. I'd much prefer it if you were just hiding somewhere in the fetal position, whimpering and mumbling to yourself.

I turned away when it was a 20 point Lakers lead, then I saw the ESPNEWS update that said it was tied. Wow.

It'll be ok. After a few years of therapy, you should be just fine.

If anyone is looking for something to do on Sunday evenings with the family, the Summer Music Fest concerts are really cool. They already had Foreigner (which were awesome), Wailers and this Sunday is Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. I'm usually there because we set up tent for Manhattan Pizzeria. It's a really fun time for the adults and kids. REO Speedwagon , Travis Tritt and The Charlie Daniels Band are also coming. www.liveatbelmont.com

Anyway I'm sure most of you know about it but I thought I'd mention it. Come say hello, I'll be in the vendors food tent for Manhattan Pizzeria. (I won't be there Sunday for Pat Benatar, my nephew is graduating from LCHS. WOW I'm old!!!!)

Walter did you find Sharon Bee? HA HA HA HA

Wendy, did these not pan out? Chris Condit Robert M Collier (405) 390-1049 1920 Cimarron Trl, Choctaw, OK 73020 I can pretty much convince myself that anyone looks like a 20 year old yearbook picture - is this Stacy Schlegel? http://stacyschlegel.com/id4.html Interesting google image result when you search for todd jones:

06/13/08 09:27 PM #475

Wendy Cubbison (Huybrechts)

That's definitely Chris Condit but I didn't receive a response from him...so I'm considering him missing. That website is also 2 years old. He could be long gone by now. I'll keep trying. I did find another email address for him and just sent him a message.

Robert Collier is on classmates.com and I know he checks that site periodically because he's signed my guestbook.

I have spoken to BD. He lives in Florida. I will get in touch with Randy Byrne too. He lives south of Leesburg.

You fella's have a good Fathers Day? My son caught a flu bug and was hurling all morning, so we decided to lay low for the day and play lego's and video games.

I got my Wii Fit. Lying things says I'm back up to 210 lbs. Ah well.

Tore down the ladder up to the rope swing on my island. At least the teenagers won't be able to break their necks quite as easily as before.

We couldn't actually get the rope swing down, even though that was our plan.

On medicare--GW is trying to get a bill passed that will cut reimbursement by 10% in July...b/c the government cannot afford to take care of us...PERIOD. Yes our healthcare system is broken...No the answer is not to hand it over to the federal government. Did we not learn anything from hurricane Katrina? Take it from someone who used to work for our oh so inefficient federal government.

I remember the Sharon Bee campaign. That was straight out of a John Hughes (I think that's his name) film.

I really missed the message board. Was in the Outer Banks last week pounding beers and smoking cigarettes on the beach (not really).

Had a great Father's Day. We went to our favorite restaurant, that happens to be Turkish. Just as we were about to leave the music gets loud and a belly dancer comes out and does her thing for like 10 minutes. My 3 year-old, Bella, who has just started taking dance (ballet) was mesmerized. After the belly dancer finished, she asked if she could dance. We said sure and she went in the middle of the restaurant and started to do her ballet moves complete with curtsies and all. People were clapping for her and she was grinning from ear to ear. Great stuff.

Brian:
Yeah, I kept telling myself that night that if the Celtics could almost blow a 20+ point lead in ONE quarter, the Lakers could SURELY do it over 3! But after the first game I could tell where this series was going, so I'll tip my hat to the Celtics in advance of them winning tonight. It's totally okay, football and golf are my favorite sports to watch (yes, golf...I love to play it so I love to watch it). Although I'm becoming more of a Caps fan now too. I was really into their late season surge, and you gotta LOVE Ovi!

Wally you ain't gettin off that easy if the Celtics win....and I won't expect to either if the Laker's make a monumental comeback. ;-)

Go Celtics! Don't know why, but I hate the Lakers. Kobe is hot, though.
