Yeah, Clark Hansbarger would be nice to see again. In our 10th grade English class, one day he brought in his guitar and sang a song or two (Brady, I'll buy you a beer if you remember what song he played). And I also remember playing hacky-sack with him and Brendan Frost for some reason. He fit in as well with the younger generation as he did with the faculty. Apparently a little too well according to Cathy Glembot's profile :).

Muffin, you may be talking about Mrs. Middleton. She taught geometry and most everyone liked her.

It would be great if Mr. Harrell could make it. Thanks for trying to get him, Wendy.

I would also like to see Mr. Oblas from middle school, who's now the LCHS principal, but I'm not sure how many others remember him. He was one of the funniest teachers I had.

Yep, Mrs. Middleton. SHe was a hoot. What about, was it Mr. Smith , we all called him Snoopy, he taught Algebra. He was always in slow motion. LOL.

I think we called him Droopy the Dog, actually!

Hey - Mr Parker has retired and is not living in this area anymore - he has a condo in Ocean City and my parents go out on his boat with him when they are at their condo.

I can get a hold of Clark. I've got a personal contact for him. Wendy, I'll get you his number.

Muffin, that was Mrs. Middleton for sure. I remember one morning she was telling the class that her son had called from college over the weekend. He had been at the hospital because he had choked on a quarter playing some kind of game. She couldn't imagine what kind of game that could be.

i thought you all were talking about Mrs. Stocks for a minute there. it must be something about those geometry teachers.

Wow Brian, I have NO idea what song he played.

Hey Beverly, I think you are right, I knew it was an oopy kind of name. HAHA

The best line from ANY teacher at LCHS was when Mr. Smith told Jose Rivera(?) that "he was a lover, not a fighter". For him to say that with that Droopy voice of his, the entire class busted out laughing.

What did everyone do this weekend? We went here...

http://www.enota.com/

Bella and I milked a cow. I actually milked it directly into a cup and drank it. It tasted fantastic. We also bought 3 dozen eggs from them. It's amazing how much better the taste than the eggs you buy at the store (even organic ones).

We've been living out on Longboat Key for the last week. Long commute for me (insert DC joke here). But tons of fun with the kids ont he beach.

Chris, do you mean Jose De La Vega?

Janie Hott (Kintz)

We celebrated my youngest daughter's 6th birthday. We had her party at Chuck E Cheese - AGAIN. Other than that my girls and I didn't do too much.

Never milked a cow... but I really want to.

I was gone for a few days, so getting back to Gino's and Jerry's, isn't it sad they closed Johnson's? I mean, whether or not you liked to eat there, that was just about the last local restaurant we had. Before long, there aren't going to be any familiar places around here.

Walt, what color was your duck? I saw a TV show recently about how the fuel was affecting them and some new system they had put on their motors.

the only Jose i knew in high school was Cuervo?

is Leesburg Restaurant no longer in business?

In case y'all missed me, I've been busy giving birth and acting as food source for our beautiful newborn baby boy...

Raleigh Augustus Rutherford arrived Wednesday July 23 at 8:33am after 5 short hours of labor (2 with epidural thank God). He weighed 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long at birth. See my profile for pics.

We are doing great other than sore hooters that are way too big for my body...and of course Raleigh's daddy insisted on a circumcision for the kiddo (ouchy).

It was painted red and named Red Sox Nathan - and it wasn't one of the original ducks

Didn't see that show - I think I did see the History channel's show on the ducks.

Which brings me to another one of my pet peeves - equal time for nutjobs - The history channel doing investigations on whether or not Bigfoot exists. He doesn't. There. End of show. You could do that in a 30 second commercial, not a 30 minute show.

I don't care what nutjob you get to babble for 30 minutes.

Oh man Walt. The tinfoil hat crowd is going to come and get you now.

Molly - Congratulations! He looks great! I am still recovering from witnessing the birth of our daughter 14 months ago. Somehow that video they showed us in Biology just doesn't quite prepare you the way it was supposed to.

Walt - Come on, No Bigfoot? Next you are going to tell us that there are no aliens in Area 51!

Molly ~ Congrats! Adorable baby!

Chris, Leesburg Restaurant is still there. If you are coming to the reunion you will have to go in for breakfast. My dad eats there every Saturday morning. He loves it, but he is old and has very few taste buds I'm sure.

Wendy Cubbison (Huybrechts)

Molly, great! Now you can make it to the reunion! ;-)

Seriously, congratulations! He's adorable!
