Gonna be a rough two weeks for the Skins.

NFC East is so competitive, teams are going to *FOCUS* on getting these tough home wins.

I'm thinking 2-3 after these two. Hopefully they stay healthy.

So who is going to be back in the Burg for Thanksgiving? It looks like we are headed back for a family Thanksgiving...Shenanigan's on Friday or Saturday night Thanksgiving weekend?

Chris Wallace

Hey all! Sorry, I was on vacation last week and haven't been checking in as often as I should. First off, I TOTALLY agree with Brendhan. I WAS the hottest chick at the reunion. I think the pics are fairly self-evident.

Secondly, don't be surprised if Biden suddenly becomes "too ill" to run and Hillary becomes Obama's VP. Palin has scared the Dem's to death! Random political thought of the day.

Good news on the site being up another 5 years! Very much looking forward to that next reunion!

Brendhan, I know it's a couple months out but if you happen to be in town on the Friday before Thanksgiving there is a great band playing Shenanigans. They always have a good crowd and it's ALWAYS a great time!

Got Wamu anyone?

Gonna get rough. Hang on tight!

Amy Harper

What??

09/26/08 09:46 AM #1140

Brady Chapman

WAMU went belly up last night. FDIC took over and JP Morgan came in and bought their bank assets for 1.9 Bill. WAMU stock is worthless this morning.

Morgan Stanley is next, followed by Wachovia.

Thanks for clarifying. Don't think I have Wamu.

Anyone attending the Redskins game this weekend? If so drop me a line, I land in Dallas tomorrow @ 1050. Cell is 224 659 8490.

Hail to the Redskins, F T O

Jay, I'm sure you had a great time at the game, provided that the Dallas fans didn't attack you out of anger. I had thought that the Skins had an outside chance of stealing this game, but they flat out dominated the lines of scrimmage throughout and it wasn't even as close as the final score indicated. Seeing Jerry Jones grimacing down on the sidelines as the Skins sealed the victory was an added bonus.

It was a fantastic game! Hail to victory on Cowboy turf!! Lovin it!

Made it out of Dallas alive ! What a great game. Yesterday it was so bad in Texas, I think they closed the banks and schools. Had way too many drinks and managed to make 60,000 new enemies.

Becky, we'll only be in town the Friday after Thanksgiving. :(

Go get em Ron Paul! This is debating the budget last year...

And the best one...

HMMF Everyone! And to start your Friday off right, I offer you this...

I moved this past weekend and came across a box of my old cassette tapes. I had this tape in there and threw it in my trucks cassette player (the only cassette player I own, yes I have a cd player in there too!). Classic Danish Heavy Metal circa 1987....awesome. :-) And I didn't even buy this tape, one of the regular contributors to these forums here "liberated" it from a record store....ah, we were such delinquents...:)

That's a shame. Wasn't his wife a P.E. teacher at Loudoun or Simpson?

10/03/08 02:25 PM #1152

Becky Furr (Baker)

Yes, Mrs Tobler was a PE teacher at Simpson.. Mr Tobler was a 5th grade teacher at Douglass Elem then transferred to Leesburg Elem when it opened. He was great.

How about Hail to the Redskins AGAIN!! WOO HOO!

Happy Monday everyone.

10/08/08 09:46 AM #1156

Hey Chris. I'm good, keeping busy at work. The county has gone crazy lately.

Yolande, I'm not much into football, but I do like the local cheer when the Redskins do well! So...Hail...

OJ . . . will never learn his lessons.

Good interview last night on the Daily Show with Michelle Obama, I thought.

She gets a bad rap. But she should be the epitome of the American Dream. I like her more than her husband at this point.
