Elizabeth "PeeWee" Brooks Fountain

Three days after graduation I married and moved to Hansford, California - a cow-poke town near Fresno - away for two years. Joe was in the Navy at the time. Moved back to Georgia, had a baby boy, who looks just like his dad. Joe French and I divorced when Joey was 2 years old. Went through nursing school at Athens Tech for LPN. Worked at Athens Regional Hospital in Psychiatric nursing for 4 years. Moved to Atlanta in 1979 and started work at Delta Air Lines. I worked as a legal assistant in their law department. Retired after 25 years with free flying benefits (don't like to fly) and a pension check (I run to the mailbox on the 1st of the month). I have been happily married to my husband, Bobby, for 13 years. Bobby retired from MARTA Transport in Atlanta. My favorite hobbies are singing, writing songs, reading, piano and keeping my grandchildren. I am very involved at my church. I love spending time with God and my family and friends. I love home!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. It's going to be a blast!!

My best friend in school was Inez Nation (Rogers). Inez and I became friends in the first grade. We even decided to run away from school in the first grade. Climbed out the window and went to "The Pines" to hang out. They found us and made us stand in the corner of the room for a period of time. Inez and I have continued to call each other and visit every chance we get.
