Nancy Anna Tucker
Nancy Anna Tucker, 57, of Carlton, died Monday, October 29, 2007, at St. Mary’s Hospice House.
She was born in Clarke County, was a native of Oglethorpe County, and was the daughter of Minnie Lee Tiller and the late Robert W. Tiller. She retired from Colbert Elementary School with 30 years service. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by brothers, Sonny, Bruce and Marion Tiller.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Richard Tucker; children, Kimberly Tucker, Danielsville, Beth Tucker and Bo Tucker, both of Carlton.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, October 31, at Thomas R. Tiller Family Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Callaway officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.

Nancy, with the deep dimples and pretty smile, you left much too soon. We attended Young Harris together for a year, and every time Nancy would go home for the weekend, so would I. We drove with one set of our parents or the other through those mountains many weekends. Nancy was truly sweet. I never heard her speak ill of anyone. I'm glad that my memories of her are such warm ones.
