Hi Lori and All!
I think there are a bunch of us that look at the site but don't post. I know I love it all. I just need to post and get some stuff on my profile.
Lena plays at the Iowa Games this weekend and we start Fair next weekend. I will try to get some posting done in between.
I have heard from a source that I was implicated in the Kansas City FFA "FUN". I knew nothing about it until after the fact! I think some of you are getting old and your minds are playing tricks on you!?!
Take care,
Kim

Hey everyone - for those who may be interested, Wayne and I are leaving for Vietnam on Sunday evening to adopt our daughter. I know many of you are so excited for us because YOU know how wonderful having a child is and of course, this will be our first one (and probably only!). lol

I have put my private blog link and password on my profile page. We HOPE to be blogging and posting photos from Vietnam - we may be in the hotel quite a bit - last I checked it was 98 degrees and 90% humidity in Vietnam!! Yikes!

Prayers are much appreciated and hope you are all having a wonderful summer!

Tena Miller (Richards)

Hey everybody,
Sorry I missed the reunion. Looked like a good time.I thought I could skip out on part of my grandfather's 100th B-day/family reunion party and slip over to Milo for a while that night but it didn't happen.
I could not post till now I only have access to innernet when I can use David's laptop and wireless card when he is not working. excusses, excusses,I know.
Suggestion: sometime in 2009-2010 we will all be hitting the big 5-O. Sounds like a good excuse to get together and celebrate.
I'll try to get Rodney to get on this site and connect with ya'all.
catch you later,Tena

Tena,

Tell your grandfather Happy Birthday! Wow, he has seen it all. What I wouldn't give to sit down and talk to him and listen to his stories.

when we turn 50 that would be a great time to get together. Anyone Else!?

Hey everyone when are we doing another bike run?

08/14/08 07:19 PM #297

Kimberly Konrad (Heim)

Jim - how did your horses do at the Fair? They are so cute. Regardless, I bet it was a good time!
Lori - how about your "special" relish? The "special" thing has me thinking?
We made it through the County Fair. Joe was so good to buy Lena's steer. He's one in a million! I will get pictures posted of Lena, Joe and Jackson(her steer).
Hannah is still at the State Fair - I am missing her! We will pick her up Sunday night after the Grandstand show is done.
Hey, if they have a Homecoming Parade this year at SEW, would anyone be interested in riding in it?

Hey, everyone! It's hard to believe that the end of summer will be here soon and school starts next week! Time just flies anymore. Tena, it was great to hear from you! I agree that we'll need to do something in '09 or '10 when we all turn 50. We should pick a day and all have one big birthday bash!! Maybe it would be fun to do something like on New Year's Eve so that we can hit both years in one night!!!

Lori Godlove (Goering)

Becky,

I am not going to turn 50- but I will join you anyway. I have been watching Chris and Wayne's blog and they have a beautiful little girl. She has done a wonderful job with all their pictures and stories. I think she should be a writer. I would buy the book!

Curt's little (hehe) brother, Craig emailed me and I couldn't email him back for some reason. Anyway, he asked who all the "old " people were. Craig, just remember, your 30th reunion is NEXT year. I can't wait to see pictures of your class reunion. Remember, you are only as old as you want to be. Right classmates?

Danny, Scott, Greg and Jim, where in the world have you been?

Kim,

Didn't go up far enough in the message forum. My "special" relish??? Got a new recipe, kind of a Chicago style, nice and sweet and spicy.

What homecoming parade? For the real homecoming or do they have one at the alumni football game too. I think we should all meet up for that. How many of our football team is playing this year?????

08/20/08 11:58 AM #302

Kimberly Konrad (Heim)

Hi!
The Alumni Game is this Friday night! Should be a fun night. I think some of our guys should play. They still have what it takes!! See you at the game.
That relish sounds fantastic.
See ya!

I want to thank all of you that posted on my blog site or sent private E-mails regarding Wayne's and my recent adoption of Emma Jewell. We are still incredulous that we are parents. Taking care of a baby is hard work!! How come you all didn't warn us?! lol

Jet lag is something else also! Whew!

Again, thanks so much for your prayers and warm wishes. Emma is safely home with us and we are all adjusting well - if we just weren't so tired....

08/23/08 09:42 PM #305

Lori Godlove (Goering)

Christi.

It is so good you, Wayne and Emma are finally home!!! How exciting. But beware, the baby stage is a breeze.... it is when they get in their teens. Oh I miss those days. The baby days of course, when mother and father knows best. Give Emma a hug.

For everyone- John Kimzey was taken to the hospital last night via Life Flight. He is on life support at this time. It was either an aneurysm or stroke. We are unsure at this time which. We will keep everyone informed. In the meantime, please say a special prayer for John.
