Now girls - stop bickering! :)

I loved school also, but I didn't like being a cheerleader at all! I did not have the personality for it - cheerleaders are outgoing and like to be out in front - like the limelight. I never did like the limelight. I preferred to blend in with the crowd. Once I found my niche in junior high, I had a ball with my little circle of friends and boy did we have fun!

You all have to remember - back then we were all in our little cliques and certainly not touchy-feely as we are now - we are much older and wiser and realize that everyone is pretty much equal - age is the great leveler.

Becky - love your new photos of your family vacation to Yellowstone! Looks like you had a wonderful time. Such cute kids you have!

We had planned on Yellowstone last July, then I changed my mind and was planning a trip for 2 to NY, then Vietnam beckoned and we ended up going on the trip of a lifetime early August! :)

Christy - I always thought everyone was equal ..... until I started paying taxes!

Where was I when all these chick fights were going on?

Not to many responses on my little survey. I am a little disappointed.

Yes where were you Curt?

I knew you gals were joking with one another but there was an edge to it...I could sense it...old wounds maybe. hehehe Kidding!!

Ruth, there are just outgoing people and not outgoing people - I was one of the "not outgoing" people and still am, though have come out of my shell a lot, especially not being a mama as there is now someone who totally takes the focus off of me and I love it.

Greg - did you post a new photo - of your first granddaughter? If so, she is beautiful and she looks as if she already has you totally smitten. You have such pretty children and grandchildren...those eyes of theirs....stunning.

Ruth, I am very much an introvert. What drinks and where?

Hey, has anyone seen Danny? He hasn't posted for awhile.

Ruth - I have no idea if you were mean to me or not. I don't remember too many people being nasty to me. I, also, had my little group of friends (no job or boyfriend) and was busy having fun with them. In my own little world as most of us were back then. Oh to have such trivial things to think of once again. lol

And I am positive you could drink me under the table. One glass of wine and I am a zombie.

Lori, I wonder where Dan is also. I bet you he has a new woman friend. :) He is a hopeless romantic at heart, no matter what he says.

Lori: I'll be back to Iowa at some point, we would probably need to meet in Indianola for those drinks. I know in college yrs. I mellowed out, the alcohol does that. I don't drink wine or beer, prefer rum & coke or a martini, and it's wine coolers that make me fall asleep. Christi: could we be getting old?

All this mean girl talk has me scared. I have been married and divorced three times. Therapy is not working. HA HA!

I wasn't scared of any of you "chicks". I thought you were all 'pretty' damn cool and I still do. Gawd! What a sap.

I have been busy. I am managing the Saint Louis branch as well as the Minneapolis branch. I was in Saint Louis last week. I'll be spending one week a month down there. Yeah, it sucks being a Cardinal fan and having to go to Saint Louis in the summer. hee hee

Have a great weekend all you cool gurls and guys!

Christina Haltom (Farrar)

Ruth are you being mean? Insinuating that I am "old"? lol

I have always been a lightweight with drinking - one glass of wine is all my metabolism can handle - mellows me out just to the point of falling asleep - like that feeling! In college rum and cokes on the front porch of our big old rental house in my senior year was our drink of choice. :) If we were out of one or the other, we made a frantic run to the grocery store or the liquor store! Now I prefer a dry oaky white wine or a merlot or shiraz. I have never ever been a big drinker but I do like to imbibe occasionally - especially with a great meal.

Older schmolder - bring on the drinks!

Oh and Dan, do you think we believe that you have just been working all this time and that is why you have not posted??? Who is she?? :)

Lori Godlove (Goering)

Yea Dan, who is she? And why didn't you stop and visit us on your way down to St. Louis? You promised us you would!

Christi and Ruth, are you two done bickering now?

Sorry to report that there is no "she" or "he" (I know how some of you smartasses think) in my life taking up my time. Settle down.

I'll let you know when I am in town next month, Lori , and we can get together. It is looking like it will be on the 17th that I will return from Saint Louis and spend a Friday in town before going back to Minnesota.

You have ALL been warned.

Woo Hoo! Dan is coming to town!

So, does anyone shop on Craigslist besides me? (Obviously, I am bored this evening or I wouldn't being bringing up this conversation)

03/26/09 06:27 AM #624

Curt Bregar

I don't Lori but a lot of people do and seem to have good luck with it. Pam spends all my money so I don't really shop.

Thought everyone should know that Randy Eubank's wife has passed away. My daughter texted me earlier today to let me know. We'll ignore the fact that she used her cellphone during the school day.....
