Well folks, I don't even know where to begain! Big John's 10yrs. Anniversary Party, Saturday (5) was fantastic and unforgettable! Despite a few thundershowers through out the day, during which John shared with his guests, his ability to pole dance in the rain. Big John's party went off without a hitch! My husband, Ed and a few other guys showed their abilities to shoot a few rounds during a little gun competition. I got talked into a little skeet shooting, for me 2 out of 10 isn't bad for a first timer, not to mention the bruise on my shoulder that is my best trophy, wanna see?! With an outstanding DJ playing all types of music, there were plenty of motorcycle games that left everyone laughing every time, along with horseshoe throwing with toliet-lids and table~pool shooting. Yet the best part was the free FOOD and BEER! There was beef, pork barbaque, beans, coleslaw, cookies, OMG..the watermelon was terrific and s~w~e~e~t! When evening begain to close, out came the lawn chairs and the fireworks ! Big John and the Drifters truelly out did themselves! The fireworks were beyond anyone's expectation, I'll tell you what the cameras couldn't hardly keep up with the beauty and power of what Big John had planned for his guests, it was totally spectacular! I look forward to being at the Drifter's 20yrs. anniversary and can't wait to see what Big John and the Drifters have in store than! I believe, topping this past celebration will take another 10yrs. to out do! Always!

Andy Adams Hey Guys. For those of you planning to attend the Elvis(Tony Wittenburg) show in Benton, Saturday July 12th. I talked to Tony today, tickets go on sale at the box office at 6:00 and the show starts at 7:00. He said we will probably need to be there at 6:00. They have been advertising it pretty heavily in Benton and Saline county. Tickets are $10.00, see you there.

Gina Perez (Jeans) The weatherman says, we'll have rain~showers for the next few days, so I'm sure with some encouragement and the promises of a few "Jerry Springer Beads." We could get Big John to do his, little "rain dance on the pole" for all of us that he did at his 10 yrs. party, again! HAHA, LOLOL! I know, I'll hear from you later tonight on IM, Big John! Thank you so much for all the information and updates, you have provided for, the classmates who will be attending "Elvis's performance" on the 12 of July! You are as considerate and sweet, as you were back in high school! I am looking forward to seeing the show and some of you folks, again! Yep, along with my trusty side~kick, Camera! First report for all the out-of-towners and local slackers....

A group of loyalists were in attendance for the latest viewing of the King. That's right, Tony put on a show that took us back in time, and for a few hours made us feel like we were in the presence of Elvis himself. Caroline, Teresa and I had to restrain Sonia to keep her from throwing her bra on stage!! (j/k, lol)

We all witnessed his amazing sound and appearance at the reunion, but in a concert setting, his humor and ability to interact and control the crowd made the experience unforgettable. Tony sang 42 songs (and that's counting the trilogy as 1 song) and handed out tons of scarves to the ladies.

I got the last ticket to the show at 6:15....45 minutes before the scheduled start time, so I suspect there were some people who missed out. There will be another show Sunday at 7pm, get there early!!

Thanks to Caroline for picking Grumpy's for the after party... we all had a great time re-hashing the concert and visiting.

In addition to the command performance Sunday to appease the crowd that couldn't get tickets for Saturday...rumor has it that there may be another performance before the big contest during dead Elvis week in August.

Folks,
Tony/Elvis' concert was fabulous last night! My husband and I arrived at 5:50 p.m. and there was a line (seemed like) a mile long to get into the Royal Theater. Tony sang "Sweet Caroline" and I was fighting back the tears when he dedicated it to me! I concur with everthing Kim M. said above. I loved and enjoyed every minute of the show!

Dena, We missed you last night!

Okay Kim, I won't wear my Spanx next Friday night. Darn!

I missed being there. I had a family emergency
and had to help my mother law. Everything is ok, my husband cousin had a Gallbladder attack and had to go to the hospital. They have a new baby so I helped with the baby.

I really can't believe I missed it. I hope you guys had a good time. I know you did. Keep me posted on the next get together.. I will be there. Miss you guys.

Yes!! What a great show TONY!!! We loved it!! And Kim yeah it's just like brunettes to try to put blame on the blond chick!! Tell the truth now....I was having fun but not that much fun...remember there was no alcohol!!(although I do think if any of the gals had a extra one (bra) it would have been thrown by you other wild and crazy girls I was hanging out with!!!) You know who you were...I'm not naming names. lol. We all have clean great fun together. I am so excited to have you all back in my life again!! There was a full house, people of all ages..children and seniors, men and women. I was so proud at intermission out side smoking of course I heard all these people talking among each other and some making calls to friends and family gleeming about the performance thus far that Tony looked and sounded just like the King himself ELVIS!!! And it was again such a great feeling at lunch today in Benton...I ACTUALLY HEARD PEOPLE AT THE TABLE NEXT TO ME TALKING ABOUT HIM and the show!!! God bless you Tony and your sweet little family...you do a super job celebrating Elvis and the Lord Jesus Christ!!! I'm looking forward to August and going with my wild and crazy friends to cheer him on!! Just don't beleive everything you hear!!! Especially when it's three brunettes and one blond. Love yall!!

Just to clarify:

Friday's Happy Hour does not have a specific start time, just come after work.

I will get there early (4:30-5:00) to pick a shady spot and save some seats.

If you are planning to be there, post or email me so I'll have some idea how many seats we'll need. Also, anyone that can come early with me would be appreciated...I might need someone to hold my beer if I have to defend the area against poachers!!! LOL

If you don't let me know you are coming, but suddenly get the urge for an adult beverage with old friends Friday afternoon, come anyway.
