As of 9/2/18, I live in Irving,Texas. I am Chief Medical Director of Quality, Performance and Innovation with CHRISTUS Health.
I practiced Family Medicine for 36 years in Kilgore and Tyler before accepting this position. I have been Blessed!

I retired from CHRISTUS in December 2022. I moved back to Tyler and reside there since retiring. I began working part-time in January 2024 with an organization in Austin, Ascension, Texas. Most of the work is virtual, but about once a month go to Austin.
I still attend the Episcopal Church and have several service roles there. I play golf, run, and, thanks to Tom Carpenter, get to read books that I did not have time to read prior to retirement.
