Brent Donaldson

From the Donaldson family to yours, we wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and all of God's Blessings for the New Year!

Now for all of you back home dealing with a "little" snow this Christmas...be thankfull that you don't have the minus -20 deree crap we have here in the Upper Midwest. It has been "Decembuur" here instead of December!

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. We had a pretty awful year this last year but, the end of this one is looking brighter already. Be sure to be thankful for what you have and share the gift of giving with those more unfortunate. Remember the two most blessed things to say in the world are " I Love you" and "your welcome". And remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Love to all!

and Brent if you get tired of Minnesota, there's always Alaska...lol.

Hey Judy...Oh I am not tired of Minnesota..just tired of these below zero temps in December! As you Alaskan's know, when you have winter for 6 months of the year like we both do, being this cold this soon is not good. We usually do not get this really cold stuff until late Jan/Feb and then it only lasts for a little bit.

Stay warm up there too Judy!

I remember my two years in Minnesota! Spring lasted 2 weeks, Autumn for 2 weeks, summer for 4 months and winter the rest of the time!!! I agree with Brent, Octoburrr, Novemburrr, Decemburrrr, Janburrrrary...

"Janburrary"...I like that one, very good. By the way Corky...what the heck are you doing up at 12:18am? That's way pass my bedtime!!

Brent when you get used to snow 9 months out of the year like we do then you can cry...lol. It's colder than blazes here too -10 for about the past 4 days. Have a Great New Years!!!

Brent, I'm not sure I was up that late, maybe the clock was not set to pacific time zone when I responde before. Either that, or I was frozen to my keyboard for many days...

I'm beginning to think Portland is in Minnesota or Alaska, as we woke up this morning to new snow covering the ground - on Jan 2. Now if we get snow, we are use to one time every other year. Not many times over a 2 week period of time, then again a week later...

-24 for about the last 2 weeks here. Warming up to -19 this morning.

FYI, I kept my maiden name, so still go by Baker. After reading the comments about the freezing temperatures and all the snow, I had to rub it in. Dave and I just got back from beautiful, sunny Maui. Time to get down to business and start the New Year. I'm attending a MM Class of 2009 Senior party planning meeting on Wed. night for my oldest son, Taylor. Where have all the years gone? The MM basketball team is expected to do good things again this year. I believe they are currently rated 2nd in State. Happy New Year to everyone!

Great invite Brent! I wonder if the gas grill will even fire up in such weather. And if yes, will the grill get hot enough? I lay awake at night thinking about things like this... : 0)

First of all Corky, you have to get your metal detector out to "find" the grill under the snow. Then you get the neigbor kids to "dig" it out for you. (Way too much work for us Old folks!) Next..get the propane torch to "thaw" the sucker out (carefull of the tank!!) Light the burners and wait overnight for it to heat up...Presto..you are ready to Grill!!! (On Second thought...let's just go to Outback Steakhouse!!!)

Thank her for her service. As a vet, I am aware of the sacrifices both the serviceperson and their families must endure. Happy Resurrection Day (Easter) to all!

The 30 year reunion pictures are great! It looks like it was a lot of fun. I wish I could recognize everyone! Some of you look exactly the same! Others I liked it when I could read the name tags.

I am the proud mother of a 14 year old Longview Babe Ruth World Series player. We're hanging in there at 2-2 and have advanced into the quarter finals on Wed. Tony Waadevig is co-president and must be living at the ball park. I see him every day. Great job Tony! We're a host family for a couple of players from Colonie NY. It's been a great experience.(so far...check with me again at the end of the week.) I hope everyone has had a great summer. Ours has been tied up with baseball, but it's a once in a life time opportunity for these kids.

Okay the last time this was used was in 2008...don't let the elementary teacher up any of you guys! lol Been teaching 10 years now. 2nd grade teaching is my niche due to being on the same intellectual level (according to my wife)...lol. I am a grandpa....with my 3rd on the way (July)....my eldest is turning 32 tomorrow. Going to hit the road in a week or two...on my Dyna Custom. My wife gets to come along due to getting her notice today (she doesn't know she is coming....yet). Have a great summer my classmates. Update when you can. Jerry Roe

First, I would like to thank Lisa and Pete for providing their finely-crafted, beautiful  home and pristine surroundings for the upcoming reunion as well as at the previous reunion. You are incredibly generous! It is an inviting, pastoral, relaxing atmosphere that really sets the mood for a comfortable visit. I am really looking forward to coming back.

Secondly, I want to let everyone know that I posted photos I took at the previous reunion under my classmate profile. Sorry that they are miscategorized, but I could not figure out how to upload them under the 35 year reunion.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Ms. (Quoidbach) Trottier for changing my flat tire at the last reunion, along with the help of the Rutherglen Mansion staff. In your good clothes yet! (And is that good service or what from the Mansion? They would not take a dime for their trouble either.)

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as can make it to the reunion on Saturday! I will miss the ones who can't!
