By the way-sorry it took so long to respond, but we have been out of town on vacation.

What about Ms. Lila Bearden?

Leigh Ann wonders if Mary Alice Cooper Burton was teaching first grade at the time.

I remember Mrs. Mary Alice. Cindy Powell was in our class and everytime she would call our names, I would answer "Me Cindy" and she started calling me that.....crazy the memories you keep in your mind.

Hey Everyone
Great website Lorie. I have had so much fun looking at all the profiles. I am really excited about the reunion. FYI: I have found all the articles of where we made our Clinic Bowl appearance. I also have many, many pics of almost everyone in our class. I will bring all to the family day and anyone wanting pics is welcome to have them. They have been in a box for well over 20 years now, they should probably go back to their rightful owner.

Mrs. Lila Bearden is a hostess at Miss Bobo's Hotel. We could probably contact her there.

If possible, can we start compiling a list as to what side dishes everyone is bringing? This way we don't have alot of duplicates. Although, you can never have too many drinks or desserts, can you?

Lorie Garner (Austin)

Hey Stacey!
About the pictures-could I get them and put them in a photo album for you? I would like to have some photo albums for display/to pass around. If you want to give them away I'll put a note on the outside and let everyone know. The newspaper articles-would you mind if I laminated them to use for the evening event? I'll make sure to get them back to you. The list of food is being sorted out by Cindy Davenport. See #15 above. Contact her with what you would like to bring. Hope to see you very soon!

Lori,
Have emails been sent out to the faculty? I know school is close to being out for the year and we have so many school email addresses, I wanted to make sure they had been notified.

Hey Lorie
Just let me know of a good time to get together with you about the photos. I would love to help you put them in albums, that way we can giggle. Also, by all means, you can laminate the paper clippings. Those can also be given away. Talk to you soon.

I'm sorry Felecia-I just now read your post about e-mails to the faculty. Yes e-mails went out on 4/13/09 to all 15 addresses you gave me. I had only Ms. Petty and Ms. Lusty to log onto the site though (that I could tell). It is possible others logged on, but did not actually register.

I have had so much fun reading all these post. I am so sad I will miss the reunion. I will be knee deep in a soccer tournament that weekend and my hubbies 40th b-day party that weekend. I will be thinking of you all that weekend and will miss you so much! Have drink for me all the way in WA State!!!

Hey Ya'll,
A bit closer to time for the reunion, I will get the list from Lorie and call each of you to see what you thoughts are regarding food, so keep in the back of your mind side dishes, desserts, and drinks. We also will bring a drink cooler of lemonade probably so if any of you guys have one of the larger containers that we could fill that would serve many, that would be great also. Lorie, Have we thought about the paper plates, napkins, fork/sppon/knife, cups plan...Let me know and if I need to add that in the list....will look at Sam's today to check on volume there. I am so excited to see all of you guys. Let me know your thoughts...See you soon, blessings, Cindy

I'm so sorry that Tiffany and Daryl will not be able to make it. I am trying to make arrangements that a photographer be there and then I will be able to at least send pictures to everyone. To Cindy-yes I have thought about the plates and etc. I think the class fund could get those. I will double check with Wes and get that okayed. If so, I will pick everything up. For drinks it would probably be easier if each family brought drinks/ice for themselves. That way we know we don't run out. What do you think?

The family drink plan works for me.....See ya'll soon,

Also, if anyone is coming from out of town on like Friday evening, maybe if any wanted to get together early for just a evening out to spend more time with each other. A few of us that are local we meet at Fast Jack's restaurant on Friday nights just to have a nice meal. So, if anyone is interested a few of us are still gonna meet at Fast Jack's around 7:00 pm on Friday July 10th. Fast Jack's is located on the main square of Tullahoma on Lincoln Street. It would be great to see everyone and an extra night to mingle would be great.

I am so thankful to have seen all of you and realized that it had been way too long for my memory to retain some of the sweet times we all had together. Thank you to everyone for everything....things we were aware of all and of those things that took heart, time, effort and sacrifice from your families to organize this reunion. I look forward to 2014! Blessings, Cindy

It was so good to see everyone as a "grown-up". Even though I had trouble reconizing a few people!!! Jon and I had the best time at both events. It was great getting to see everyones kids.
Sunday morning I woke up and my cheeks and belly hurt, it took me a minute to realize it was from all of the smiling and laughing we did all day Saturday!!!!
Thank you Shannon for saving the first dance for me I love you!

I had a great time seeing everybody again. I'm glad I was talked into coming later that night. It was great talking to everybody as a grown up. Time changes people for the good. I loved seeing all the children, even though it was like being back in time. Maybe we will all see each other again real soon. God bless everybody.

Hello!! Our reunion was fantastic!! I have to believe other classes from MCHS and even nationally can not possibly be as close as we all were and apparently still are. It was like best friends who haven't seen each other in years, but still fall right back into place. I didn't get to talk to everybody I wanted to and the people I did talk to, I felt hurried just to find out basics about the last 20 years. Thank you so much Lorie for making it possible. Wish 2014 was already around the corner just so we could get together again!!
