Otto (Bill) Doll

I graduated from Va Tech with a degree in Computer Science. Spent 30 years in Northern Virginia at a number of companies (never spent very long anywhere). While working at the General Services Administration (GSA), I was sent to Harvard for a Senior Executive Fellowship at the Kennedy School of Government.

I met my wife Jo in 1983, a theater arts major in Washington DC. We have two wonderful children after 29 years. My wife passed away in July 2012 from ovarian cancer.

In 1996, I moved the family to South Dakota, where we have been till February 2011. As a political appointee, one serves at the "pleasure of the Governor." The newly elected Governor taking over in January 2011 choose not to keep me on. Hence, I got a job in Minneapolis as the city's CIO.

My hat's off to those of you who handled and went to the reunion. The pictures are worth a thousand words. Sorry I could not attend--maybe next time.

By the way, I have been using my middle name, Otto, since high school. No one knows me by William.
