Mary Schunemann (Felton)

I have an idea, I don't know if there is time to get this together, but it would be great if we all had name tags with our graduation photo on them! I did go to the 10th reunion and there were a lot of people there I found myself saying this to: "I don't think I knew you in HS..." and then later poured through my yearbook to figure out who the heck I was talking to all night!!!
It could save a lot of embarrassment, well, for me at least...I mean, I haven't seen most of you in 3 decades! Maybe name with married name, photo and current occupation. The OTHER advantage to this would be our spouses wouldn't be at a total loss for conversation. I'm sure my Fire Chief husband would love to talk shop with some of you jakes! I already realize you wise-asses are gonna make me pay for this post...go ahead, let 'er rip

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks! It was great talking to you Fri. night, Melissa! Sorry you hurt your back. No excuses not to be here for the reunion though dancing up a storm!!

Just had a very productive and fun weekend with house cleaning, canoeing and going to the Scottish Highland Games up at Loon Mtn.!! Has anybody gone and seen the Scottish band "Albannach" they are incredible?!! Wish we could get them to come play at our reunion!!! They are hot, primal and like nothing you've ever heard before! Wouldn't mind seeing what's under some of their Scottish Kilts!!! Ladies I think you would agree for sure!! Sorry guys no offense!

For those of you who believe in the power of prayer please pray that my daughter Maura's bi-lateral hip surgery goes well this Thurs. and will possibly enable her to walk with a gait walker after 9 yrs. of being unable to walk at all! I hope to have some more pictures of me and my girls posted for you to see soon. That is if my 16 y.o. cooperates with me to take and download some pictures with her digital camera! You know how us teenagers can be, right?? LOL

For our Apollo Trip. The only way to get a headcount is to cut and paste and post. I'll start. You'll see what I mean.

If you are coming: copy the list and Add Your Name (and anyone coming with you) and post to the Forum. If you are not coming but are listed: copy the list, Remove Your Name and post to the Forum. Always use the last list. It will be the most current and no one wants me to have to do math. It's not pretty.
If anyone has a better idea, I’m in. Otherwise, running list it is.

Rob,
It was great talking to you on Friday night. Sorry I couldn't hear a damn thing you were saying! If I could have heard you clearly, it would have meant that we weren't having enough fun at PJ's! :)

Laura Kohut (Douglass)

The photos from Friday night are wonderful. I wish I had thought to phone in to join the fun long distance!

Carol, I would like to think I was speaking clearly but you never know with this crowd. It was also nice speaking with you. My wife and I are trying to make arrangements so we can go to the Apollo grill with the rest of the gang. If successful, we will be there.

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

I've got to say, Kev is right: it's too bad none of us had the same mindset back in high school that we have now at 45+! It's so nice seeing everyone so connected with and supportive of each other!

Pam: your daughter is adorable and I'm sure will come through the surgery with flying colors, as will you!

Melissa: Feel better!

Rob: I'm soooooo jealous. Can't wait to see you!

Bob: I'm making a goofy face in the group photo! Doh!!

Michelle: You're a lot of fun too... saw the pics of your son... that HAIR!! He's hysterical!

We'll see you all in TWO WEEKS!!

Anne O'Shaughnessy (Suosso)

Mary,

We will be making the same name tags we made at the 10th reunion. Your graduation picture and name will be on it. So you will know everyone there by the name tag. Can't wait to see everyone. Close to 160 people coming.

Anne

Laura Kohut (Douglass)

Anne,
I know it's been said before but I feel I need to say it again: you and the rest of the planning committee have done a wonderful job of not only organizing the event but bringing people together. This forum is proof of your success. If everyone who wanted to thank you were to buy you a drink at the reunion, you would be drinking for days (was that your plan all along! Now I'm on to you!).

All kidding aside, thanks.

Laura

It has been alot of fun planning this reunion. Thanks for saying Thanks.

Just got off the phone with Cindy Flynn. She hasn't made up her mind yet, but I gently nudged. Keep your eyes open for her profile.

09/21/09 08:01 PM #906

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

Good job, Kev. She's one I'd love to see.

09/21/09 08:08 PM #907

Kevin Farley

Didn't she used to lice (live, not lice. Sorry Cindy) up in your old neighborhood?

09/21/09 08:11 PM #908

Kevin Farley

Cindy is the fourth person that got one of my gentle nudges-(no fifth). I say we should all make an effort to look through the profiles, find someone we know who has not responded and give a group nudge.

I bet there are many who only want to be asked.

Not on my street, but nearby if I remember correctly.

Sounds like I missed A good time.. Great pics...

Went to see "Recycled Percussion" tonight with my daughter and her friend! They are really awesome but loud!! I must be getting older!! LOL

I agree that we should all try to get people we know who don't want to go a nudge. I have tried to convince Charlotte Hybsch Crockett and Kathy Senecal Cartmill with no luck! Anyone else want to give it a try??!!

Thank you for your well wishes with my little Maura's surgery on Thurs. I will keep you posted as to how she does! Having the reunion to look forward to will help me get through some of the tougher days ahead.

Pam: best of luck with your daughter...I hope she does well.

Kevin: maybe you should upgrade to gentle pushes if nudges aren't working.

Cindy grew up on Candia Rd..she lived next door to my Memere!

Kevin...I sent a "nudge" email to Scott Komasarek last nite. We'll see what happens...

I have a great Scott Komisarek story..will have to wait to see if he shows up. If not I am telling it anyway...still makes me laugh to this day.
