Donna Keenan (Grady)

Really Steve ..just looked your quote up...If it's clear it's beer? Your parents must have been so proud LOL

07/17/09 12:55 PM #119

Steve Hernandez

Um..... Not so proud. LOL
They still talk about some of my HS antics. They're still waiting for me to mature!

I think my knuckles dragged on the ground back then!

Robert Ferendo

Aaah...THAT's the Steve H. I remember well...and forget HS antics...what about the 8th grade joy ride in Mom's car?!!!

Steve Hernandez

Rob my friend. I have no idea of what you speak! ;-)

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

I recall getting off work at the movie theater with Rob and Dan Soulia and Karen Graveline, somehow laying hands on some beer and finding a stolen safe from a local restaurant that had been robbed in a snowbank! How's THAT for an obscure memory, Rob!! We went to the little market at the bottom of the Bridge Street hill (memorable now for different reasons!)and called it in to the police. I remember it like it was yesterday. Wierd!

I swear if you look NERD up you will see my picture..no fun stories like that!

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

A lot is just coming back lately, Donna. But that was so bizarre it always stuck! I remember you always laughing... I hope you still do. Life's just WAAAAY to short not to!

07/17/09 02:35 PM #125

Donna Keenan (Grady)

I do still laugh a lot...sometimes I am home alone and crack myself up! My sister and I are extremely close (she is 13 yrs older than I am). We can IM each other and be on the floor dying of laughter.

And can I just say PETER BOURASSA...yummy! See just cracked myself up again!

Donna Keenan (Grady)

Oh BTW..have a hot date with George Foreman tonight LOL

07/17/09 02:42 PM #127

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

You still kill me Donna! I just looked at Pete's profile... he looks exactly the same as in HS! And yes, he's still quite cute. (Oh, I am going to catch hell for THAT I'm sure! Ha!) Give George my best!

07/17/09 02:44 PM #128

Steve Hernandez

Hey Donna! Give George a chance. He's a great guy!

Um, I hear the Derryfield is still quite the place (even for 40-somethings) hint, hint, hint!

07/17/09 02:46 PM #129

Steve Hernandez

Catch hell for what? lol

Glenn Lianos

Wow! Melissa solved another hot case and this time she didn't need Scott's help. I thought maybe you guys hooked up passing off Colette's slip covered yearbook.

PS Karen...shame on you for saying...this far down the road. Our Parents are old not us!! lol

07/17/09 03:00 PM #131

Glenn Lianos

omg...Steve so funny. When we used to go out we called the "Derryfield" Geriatrics..now it's us...UGH

07/17/09 03:24 PM #132

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

Hmmmmm...Met a guy for a drink at the Derryfield recently, but we didn't stay long enough to get an impression of the place since the remodel... and the priest sitting at the table next to us was kind of ruining the mood!

You're only as old as you feel, Glen... and I feel 18 again.

07/17/09 04:27 PM #133

Donna Keenan (Grady)

I believe the Derryfield was called the Meat Market. Steve I get the hint. I work nights so going there is kind of hard. The only time I think about it is while I am at work and we send a cruiser heading that way for a drunk 40 something year old.

07/17/09 04:51 PM #134

Glenn Lianos

Glad to hear Karen...that's awesome! Donna don't give up! If George Foreman doesn't work out there's always Fry Daddy, Jack LaLanne and Mr Clean..Seriously, you're a smart good looking girl. Things will change!

I realize I am coming off like some poor pathetic single woman. I like being on my own. Had breakfast with my baby yesterday (baby aka 21 and 6'1"). I have to stand on my toes to kiss him when I tell him I love him. Life is good. Any day you wake up and your feet hit the floor is a good day, right? We don't have to wait until October for those of us in the area..we could meet up for a drink anytime.

Hey everyone not many takers for the wine tasting and dinner that I am hosting on friday night. $30.00 per person is all it costs, I can host up to 30 people at my house.

Melissa, Melissa, Melissa,
Truly a bit disappointed (yes, it might be the alcohol talking). All the grief about picture posting, soul baring, etc., on the reunion site. Your facebook is BARREN! Some of us have done a pretty good job of embarrassing ourselves out there. Now it is your turn. I think we should have a facebook challenge, and it starts now. You were (and still are) my idol. By the way, I think (hope) Glenn agrees with me.
Lyn

Lyn, I know, it’s completely pathetic. But I can’t take one more learning curve. Further, my virtual life has become busier than one actual one. Something had to give-Facebook is taking the hit. (I’m only on Facebook because it’s our squids' preferred method of communication. What’s a mother to do?) Please note how many photos I have posted on the reunion site. You could pick my entire family out of a police lineup…even our dogs. That has to count for something.

Steve and Karen, That’s what I’m talking about. Details. I’m sort of in love with both of you myself. Delicious story. Congratulations (and thank you.)

Donna, I expect to be hearing from you and Peter B. any day now….

07/17/09 11:14 PM #139

Donna Keenan (Grady)

No won't be hearing from me about Pete B. I have one true love and I know he loves me back. Jon Bon Jovi I am waiting for you!

07/17/09 11:23 PM #140

Melissa Turner

I stand corrected. I meant hearing from you about Jon Bon Jovi, of course. I'm personally still waiting for my call from Bruce Springstein. Please don't tell Tim. He knows I would have left him for Albert Einstein (who, let's face it, was a total babe) if he was living and all, but I've been closed lipped about The Boss. I love my man and I don't want him to feel insecure but we're talking about Bruce. Still....sshhhhhhh!!!!

07/17/09 11:26 PM #141

Steve Hernandez

Melissa,
You're welcome. As Ms. D alluded, our first (albeit thirty years late) date was at the so-called meat market known as the Derryfield. We didn't stay long. ...spent the rest of the evening walking around the other Derryfield (the park) holding hands and reminiscing. ...wondering why it took so long to meet. As I've stated previously, she's the best!

Sappy, I know! ...but true.
