I have missed a few weeks... damn am I behind. Hey Laura, you were talking about Dark Shadows. Colin Kings sister went to Salvey Regina College in RI. Her dorm was the castle of Barnabis Collins. We managed to do every bad thing we could think of in that place... fatties in the round coffin room! OMFG
I'm amazed. With the chemical influence of our class, most of you still have pretty good memories!
Way to much fun folks.

Speaking of upcoming weekends...

Several people have mentioned that they would be interested in getting together before we get too close to Christmas. Also, several people have mentioned that they'd like to meet for dinner, then end up someplace that offers dancing.

It would be great if anyone seriously interested in getting together within the next few weeks would offer input. Maybe we can meet somewhere for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night as an "MMHS79" holiday gathering.

Ideas?

Unfortunately, we probably won't find a time that's good for everybody, so maybe we should just see what's good for everyone interested and have the majority rule.

Mary, I believe Kathy Senecal Cartmill took pictures of it!! They are the juiciest Thanksgiving turkey you will ever have!

Carol, in regards to getting together the 12'th works best for me as I have Maura on the 5'th! I agree with Robert that Sat. nights work better than Fri. nights. Hope everyone heals soon in your family so you can get back to having some fun instead of nursing everyone back to health!

Anyone interested in the "Lazy Lion" in Deerfield this Sat. night? Let me know!

Last but not least I want to wish each and every one of you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving! I know I feel truly blessed this year with all that has happened in the past couple of months. Please pray that Maura's cast comes off tomorrow so she can continue to move forward in her life! I also feel very blessed to have a caring class of 1979 classmates! You guys and your E-mails and text messages really helped me get through those tough days in the hospital. The MMHS class of 1979 truly does rock!!! I hope to see some of you real soon!

The 12th works for me too.

Pam. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Maura will have a cast free Thanksgiving.

To all of you I wish the best of Thanksgivings. I'm thankful for not having to cook this year. Yay for me. I'm thankful for my kids that will both be home for Christmas. Yay for me again. I'm thankful for a husband that pretty much humors me.

My best to everyone on Thanksgiving - have fun and eat lots!! I'm incredibly thankful for all the amazing things that have happened over the past year, all the new and old friends that continue to enrich my life, and my phenomenal family.

Joe, cool story about the "castle" at the college. Great trivia answer, too.

I would love to see the photos from Kevin's as well.

I'll be in NH for Thanksgiving and will think of you all. I have to get back for the annual Angry Johnny and the Killbillies "Thanks for nothin'" show at our local pub. Great local group and a hell of a nice guy, that Angry.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving and remember, no matter how bad we may think we have it, be thankful you are not the bird!

Happy Thanksgiving to all...I personally am having a pity party for one. Sorry for the late call, Rob. Just remember the police, fire, EMTS and our military who won't be with their families (aka Me).
This year has been a blessing in so many ways. I just need to make it through tomorrow.

Whoo Hoo Maura's cast came off today! She is one happy little camper!! I have much to be thankful for this year for sure! You are right, Laura, and one of them is that I was NOT one of Kevin's birds!!

Donna, try not to be too down and out tomorrow. Are you going to be with any of your family? If not come with me to my oldest daughter's fathers house they would welcome you for sure!! No one should be alone for Thanksgiving!!
Are you working on Fri. around 4PM? If so, you can see little Maura as Rick and I are exchanging her there at 4PM on Fri. It is his weekend to have her! If you aren't working call me and we can do something on Sat. or Sat. night if you want! I am bummed I have no kids and no plans for the weekend.

Joni thank you so much for the phone call last night! It was awesome talking to you!

No I won't be with anyone tomorrow. I am working. I will be working Friday so I will see you then. Should we let the cat out of the bag and shock your ex? Anyone bored I will be at the PD tomorrow from 3 -11. I could use a hug!

11/26/09 03:22 AM #1708

Joan Whitcomb (Pledger)

Donna, Give me the PD number and I will call you there.O.K.

Donna I am sending you a great big hug through here!I remember having to work on holidays too when I did hospital and nursing home nursing so I know exactly how you feel. Hopefully, you will or have already celebrated Thanksgiving on another day with your family!! After all it is the time you spend with the people you love and care about that make it Thanksgiving or Christmas no matter what day you celebrate it on!

Yes, we should not have to pretend we don't know each other anymore as that is just plain rediculous! Please come out and say "Hi!" to Maura! She looks great! If you go on facebook at all I have posted a picture of her and I my oldest took last night as my wall photo!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Pam: Congrats to Maura! Something great to be thankful for.

Donna: hang in there, doesn't matter when you celebrate just that you do in fact celebrate at some point...God Bless those Men and Women in service either local or afar!

I hope that everyone has something that they are Thankful for!

I am thankful that God only chooses the best. He took my Mom from me today. Heaven has to be a better place now.

O.k. I'll start with.....I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Filled with lots of love and family.

This has been the best thanksgiving ever. We had dinner at My son's in-laws. They are wonderful, fun people. And I am thankful for the new blessing that will be coming into our lifes in July. My son announced that they are pregnant. I'm gonna be a grammy. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I just thought it would be my daughter first. She's 27. My son is 21 and still in school. But God blesses us with obstacles to make life interesting.

I hope you all had as good a day as I did.

Linda Lemay (Wojceshonek)

Oh Deb. I'm so sorry. Here I am going on and on about what a good day I had. I wish I'd read the posts first. But maybe it's a sign that the baby will be a girl.

You are right. God choose today, this special day of giving thanks to call your mom home to him.

Bless you and your family. Can you post the details so I can pay my respects in person.

I know how hard it is to lose someone you love at this time of year. My niece died at age 20 a couple of days before thanksgiving 3 years ago. Makes it hard to celebrate.
