I have spent the last ten years enjoying life at a leisurely pace. I took my time and wasted my money trying to find a college that suited my taste! I finally found comfort with ODU's teletechnet program at New River Community College and FINALLY received my Bachelors in 2007. Of course I chose to be a teacher so I guess FINALLY doesn't paint the real picture. What can I say? I love school! What other reason would someone have for spending almost a decade in college?! At least I gained a husband and two children from this period of procrastination. It was during my second stay at Radford University that I met Avery. Can you believe that it was Becky Winters that introduced us? Yes, Becky and I are still inseperable, in spite of the fact that we lived in different states for a while! Avery and I have two beautiful children that keep us pretty busy. We now live in Radford and love it! Nothing beats a peaceful afternoon down by the river!
