I graduated from Emporia State Teachers College with a BS. in Biology. I received my Masters from the University of Northern Colorado. I spent 33 years teaching in Jefferson County Schools in Colorado.
My wife, Joyce, and I have one child, Jeremy. Jeremy graduated from the Un. Of Wyoming with a degree in architectural engineering and is working in Denver. Joyce and I have lived in Lakewood, Co. for 40 years. I retired in 2001 and have been doing volunteer work with Jefferson County Open Space, teaching a fly fishing class, acting as a host at Pine Valley Ranch Park, and acting as a cliff-nesting raptor observer. I have also been volunteering at Denver Botanical Gardens & Hudson Gardens in the water gardens area. I also volunteer as a driver for the South Platte Trolley. I also still get into the classroom as a substitute.
