Hello to all from nyc...

 Hello folks,

I've been swamped with my new project and to my happiness, Mustafa, (the middle son of my friend) has joined in. He works 12 hours at one of the stores then comes to my place and we study and read each word from the Torah/Old Testament and compare it to the Koran.

At the same time I am mapping with a time line and lineage each step of the way. WOW! What a way to learn about everything from the Creator to the Prophets and everything in between. We are documenting each birth, death, tribe, war, river, land, alliances and on and on. We're just wrapping Exodus this week and last night revisited Noah for the extracation of the Noahide laws from the text. Bet you can't tell me where they are found... I was dumfounded when Mustafa asked me where they were.

I sheepishly told him I had to "look into it," sheesh how lame. I mean c'mon Mo you read the Torah every year and you have no answer.

I met with an Imam from Yemen today. We were both surprised at what we shared. I won't drag you thru it but suffice to say it was a great meeting.

Two months ago I had three very dismal Cancer results. Today I have a blood count that is still healthier than most (non-cancer) men's. My skin cancer had become massive and debilitating but after two weeks of chemo and a month of recovery I am cancer free there. I have to re do it in a few months. But really who gives a rats ass. Right? I was diagnosed with colon cancer and more in the surrounding areas (take a guess) anyway, what was given as a bleak prognosis was reversed last week. I went from five, count 'em, five cancerous spots to four negatives and one only "pre-cancerous." Now my knife happy doctor is still going through with the surgery. Oh sure it's not him who's getting filleted.

It's going to be a real Pain-in-the-Ass. Hahahahahahhaahahahahaha. I love saying that.

Hope you're all healthy and happy.

Regards,

M

Hey Chuck... Shelley (wife) and I were in NY recently.  We say the USS NY on TV and thought, why not take a drive over to see her in person.  It was grand.

So sorry to hear of so many trials and travails, but they haven't killed you yet, so you must be getting stronger... at least that is our hope and now that we know of your condition it will be part of prayers as well.

I am gradually reading the Koran on my Kindle.  Not too far into it yet as I keep downloading books that are more fun to read, but I am learning more of men and things as I go through life.

Thanks for reaching out to us...and may you be "wrapped in the arms of the Savior's love."
