hmmm..this is all pretty tripppy eh?

Had a scholarship to University of Chicago (Mathematics) but choose to stay in Boise 'cause I was I Love! So went to BJC,BSC,BSU majored in math then switched to creative writing.

Had my musical group Almighty happening 'bout then. Famous people would see us and say "that was the worst music I've ever heard."

Got married (1st) in 1972 and had son Elias, then Benjamin in 1974. They are both in Boise currently.. Elias a world adventurer and Benjamin an artist and musician.

I began competitive bicycle racing and downhill ski racing for 7-Eleven Racing Team and US Ski Team respectively. I loved to go fast!!

Then up to Seattle I came and began working at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, continuing my music production as well. Ended up composing music for Disney, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Theatre and the Avante Garde. Wonderful crazy experiences with all that.

Got married 2nd time to a Resident at UW Medical School (got to be subject of many intimate examinations by the med students)! She ended up being Chief of Staff of a Horse Pistol up here in Seattle area.

Got talked into coaching Junior High girls basketball in Seattle. I was given all the reject girls. We started 0-1. But then went on to win the District title after I switched to a very simple game plan "If they have the ball, take it away..If you have it, shoot it!"

In our "spare time" we showed Shih Tzus in Regional Dog Shows. (Yes, exactly like "Best in Show") Got divorced after 17 years together and began following my India interests.

Came up with a crazy idea to document the largest gathering of humanity (100,000,000) on earth (Kumbh Mela) in India 2001, so I put a global team together and off we went to the wonder and craziness like never before. I still do music for film and have a weirdly twisted cabaret/burlesque group in Seattle.

So I go back 'n' forth between Seattle and India every year while trying to figure out how to move there to retire. I'm working on trying to help some of the street kids in the Paharganj area of Delhi, with food, clothing, health care and education.

School Story:

I know not of the current Meridian. In the old one, I lived..and loved. I am so happy to have grown up there..still reminds me of "It's a Wonderful Life", where fantasies abound.

In the old neighborhood at the SW edge we frolicked with the likes Richard Gooch, Terry Cook, Pam Erwin, Jimmy McFarland and Bobby Nichols. And Doug Connor's was always fun to go to as was Kenny Ewing's to play music. I loved going over to Connie Coleman's, Connie Lovan's and Vicki Mangum's. Jeanie Gardner's neighborhood, Johnny Ewing's..all places that became endeared within me. I liked Ricky Hoyle's pad by the grade school too. Tony Jones and John Morgan were fun to skateboard with on the Meridian Junior High tennis courts. I always wondered what it would have been like to climb the smoke stack at the creamery by Gary Mittleider and Kenny Shelton's homes. It was so cool to have Diane Creason's dad do the best photos throughout the years.

I was forever in awe of the endless possibililies for adventure as a young lad in that wonderful town. From jumping onto the passing freight trains to riding our bikes through town under the midnight skies.

Had wonderful brother and sisters who helped pave my way throughout. Margie was very popular and a homecoming queen/cheerleader. Susie was beautiful and fiery. Bob was quite the athlete, holding state records long and high jump, and tennis.. great basketball player as well. Bob and I had several high school rock bands that played for various MHS proms and school dances.

Things change and friends are sometimes far away. I was fairly distant after the summer of my junior year. My father had his stroke and I became his soul/sole caretaker during my senior year, and changed my planned course of joining him in his medical practise.

Very fond are my memories of all of you! What wonderful things you've done. Sometimes I dream of being 16 again.
