Janet Hiller Calhoun

I married Warren Calhoun,(our classmate), in 1972. We lived in Meridian our entire married life.

I graduated from beauty college and worked 21 years. I had my own hair salon, "Jan's Hair Care." I then worked for the Meridian School District as a teacher aide working with the Learning Disabled at Meridian Elementary. I worked with brain injury, fetal alcohol syndrome, down's syndrome.

After Warren died I worked at Hewlett Packard on the production line in Boise;then do to downsizing I moved to Loveland, CO. I was on the production line until they downsized.

Now I am with the State of Idaho, Health & Welfare Criminal History Unit.

In my sophomore year, I had Mr. Turnbull for Geometry. I remember the first day of class, when Warren walked through the door. Mr. Turnbull, saw him and immediately said, "Calhoun, up front!" Everyone started laughing. I will always remember what a "cutup" Warren was; and he never ever changed.
