I found Randy's name on the Vietnam Wall several years ago when Rex and I were in Washington DC. Brought the war really home for me. God bless our men and women in uniform and their families. Thanks, Randy. From Ilene Austin Mecham
Early in my married life, my husband and I lived in an apartment next to Randy's mother. She also taught school with me at Lowell Scott Middle School. Until that, I had not heard about Randy losing his life in the war. Visiting with his mother made me even more proud of Randy and proud to be an American. I took students to Washington DC twice and both times stood in front of the Wall where Randy's name was, remembering and thanking him for the freedom that we enjoy. If you ever get a chance to go there, I'm sure that it will give you shivers as well as pride. Darla E
Our moms worked together at Meridian Drug Store and I remember hearing of Randy's death and the sadness. The loss of a classmate is sad. The loss of a son and brother is overwhelming. Randy, I thank you. Janice
