Rick was one of those handsome kids that liked to tease. I remember when he married Shannon, a girl I had gone to school with in Boise, I thought how happy they would be. I remember when his truck went over that 300 and some foot cliff how sad it seemed. What a tragic ending to a spirited life. Darla
I contacted Shannon and she wanted me to share this about Rick: Rick died on July 28, 1979. He and a neighbor friend were killed when Rick rolled our Toyota Land Cruiser down a steep hillside off Pilot's Peak Rd. near Highway 21 above Idaho City. Our daughter, Stephanie, was nine at the time and she and I were returning from a trip to Utah at the time of Rick's accident. Steph is now a lovely 38-year-old single women living in Boise. I've never re-married. Rick was a good man and loved family and friends. He and Stephanie had a special father-daughter relationship, and I always wish he'd had more time to spend with us. He would have enjoyed watching Stephanie grow up. Shannon Page
Rick and I where friends before grade school in the second grade we chose to ride our bikes everyday and we only missed one snowy day. We played army with BB guns, would swim in the canal, hunted for birds before and after school and just loved life. Rick saved my life just before school year started in the 6th grade we where riding bike's and I rode through a bob wire fence. I started running for home over two miles away, Rick stopped me turned me around then went for help. I don't think I ever said thank you. Thank's Rick Harry
