Jolene Briggs Cooley

After graduating from Hillcrest I attended Utah State University for one year and then married Steven Cooley in 1970. We have been married for 38 years and have three children. I worked as a bookkeeper for a retail chain and returned to school in 1992. I earned a bachelors degree in accounting and Masters of Business Adminstration from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. I have worked for the State Auditors Office as a senior financial auditor for the last ten years. I enjoy traveling to California since that is where all my children and grandchildren live. We are a close knit family so we try to get there as much as possible. We love traveling and our most recent trips were a cruise to Alaska and Christmas in New York.

I have retired from the State of Utah Auditors Office. We sold our house in the Sugarhouse area and relocated to California (in the mountains outside Palm Springs) since all our children and grandkids live in the state. We have been busy decorating our new home and doing some traveling Just returned from Saint Marteen. I could really get used to this retirement thing:)
