The FORTY YEAR reunion, wow! Only hope I'll be around for the next forty. Have been feeling a little guilty about viewing all the profiles without providing one of my own. For those of you who provided profiles I want you to know I enjoyed reading about the class of '69.
I have have had a full and rewarding life, full of tremendous undescribable highs and at times kick you in the butt and drag through hell and back lows. Somehow we survive, dust ourselves off and start all over again and again. Wow, what a ride! Similar to a few other like minded folks in our class I never wanted to show up on the last day all proper and polished but rather a bit bruised and battered but not broken full of life's adventures, wonderful memories, looking for more.
Have been fortunate to have good health, a loving and understanding family, great friends and watch my three kids grow to become the special people they are.
With several interesting detours along the way (always heard the way less traveled was more interesting or was it the straight and narrow was boring, I don't recall) I have spent most of my adult life as a project manager in the drilling business working on a wide variety of projects from the rain forests of Peru to within 60 miles of the North Pole while living in Utah 3x, Arizona, Panama, Washington 2x, British Columbia, Alaska and back to British Columbia where I currently reside.
I guess it is best to keep it some what short and simple. I wish to thank those who have sent messages, I enjoyed hearing from you. Wish I could be there for the celebration, able to visit, share stories, mostly true but for the the most part well embellished - a prevlidge with age I guess.
To all of you, I sincerely wish that you continue to be truly blessed on your journey, stay safe and may love, health and a peaceful heart be with you always.
