Kathy died in a plane crash with her family. I believe they were living in Montana and flying back to Utah when the plane crashed. I can't remember the year. Maybe Ken Raleigh can give us more details.

Kathy was living in Lewiston Montana. She had four children and her husband was Kenny Moncur. She worked in a fabric company and Kennys Dad ran the airport. My wife Lauri lived there and was friends with Connie Moncur, Kathys sister in law. My wife moved away in 1973 and the wreck happened maybe a couple years later not much more.

Kathy was such a darling person. She had the most adorable handwriting, I think she was the original inventor of the "dot font." Even though it was a big job, she addressed all of her wedding invitations in her special hand.

Every time Kathy was in Salt Lake she would contact her friends for a get together. After she died, there have not been very many get togethers. That is one of the saddest things about death; the bigger the heart, the bigger the hole it leaves in our lives.

I have just found this sight. Thanks so very much to all who made it possible as I had no idea so many of out class mates had passed.

Kathey...you were darling, fun and friendly. I loved being around you because it made me happy.
