I worked for 25 years for Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals in Summit as a photographer and video producer. I retired 17 years ago and work harder now than ever as a tour operator, teacher, writer and fine art exhibitor.

Since retirement, I have started my own company and am the owner and director of photography of New Jersey Media Center in Berkeley Heights. NJ Media Center specializes in photo services and workshops providing portrait & event photography, as well as coaching for artists, portfolio development, & workshops in photography & art in group and private sessions locally in NJ and internationally.

For the past ten years, I have been running international photography tours around the world. So far this year, I have taken several groups to Cuba and New Zealand to photograph. Cuba was most interesting and I will be taking another group there in December if anyone is interested. You do not need to be a serious photographer. The trip has a wonderful balance of history, culture and some great places to photograph.

Just got back from running a tour in Tuscany/Umbria. Great photo ops for sure. Our tours rival Nat Geo at a much lower price and far fewer people. Next up is Northern Scotland in October. For all you Outlander fans, we will be immersed in amazing landscape and will also venture over to the Orkney Islands to see some standing stones. Let me know if you would like to join us.

So, sorry to hear about Joe. Although he was not one of my friends, he was so vital to our class and someone to look up to for all he achieved already in high school. I feel like another chapter has closed for us. Condolences to his friends.
