Diane Schultz Johnston

I continued my education at Concordia College, St. Paul, MN. I received my first teaching job at First Lutheran Church and School in Burbank, CA in 1982. I taught 2nd Grade and Kindergarten for 6 years. I met my husband while there and were married in 1989. We were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Elizabeth Marie in 1991. My teaching career continued at Zion Lutheran School, Glendale, CA and at Salem Lutheran Church and School, Glendale, CA for the past 25 years.

One of my favorite memories is being with my room-mates and being a Resident Assistant. I also have great memories of being in Choir and singing Handel's Messiah and Brahm's Requiem. Going on choir tour was amazing! I also loved our L.Y.E weekend retreats and being in Recreation Leadership class and going camping in Boundry Waters. I have so many great memories!
