My sincerest sympathy. Jeff and I had some great times together at the University of Maryland. You were much on his mind then as well. May your children give you the comfort and support at this time.

Dear Barbara:

How sad to hear of Jeff's passing. I knew him well at MHS and he was a nice guy and good friend along with Ronnie Mansfield and Jeff Wellhofer. It saddens me to see so many of our old friends leaving us atwhat seems like an early age. Best wishes to you and your family!

Chris

Barbara: I remember you & Jeff very well from our days at Mt. Hebron Jr. High and the High School. Like other classmates have already mentioned, how sad it is to know that another classmate has passed. At this point in time, clearly 20 percent of our graduating class are no longer with us - a sobering fact. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your children. My guess is that you and Jeff had many wounderful and fulfilling years together. May God's peace bring you and your family much comfort. Wayne Hansen.

Dear Barbara, It was with great sadness that I learned of Jeff's death.  I knew him from Mount Hebron days, and I remember his Mom as a kind and enthusiastic person.  For ten years, I walked past his house on Lorraine Avenue.  Peace be with you and your family.  I know from my own personal experience how difficult it is to lose a spouse. As a bereavement counselor, I realize on a daily basis that life is a gift. Please sned my thoughts on to John and Janet. Ron Owens

Dear Barbara,

I am saddened to learn of your loss. I went through the same thing, in similar circumstances and in just about the same time frame. I understand the effort it must have taken simply to write the words and post them online. It is devastating to lose the love of your life and reality will never again be the same. I am living with that every day, and you must be as well.

I rememnber Jeff from elementary school at Mt. Hebron, and am looking for a picture of our 6th grade class, spring of 1955, with Miss Arentzen, the teacher.

Living life to its fullest leads to a loss that can never be recovered. The cycle of life offers opportunities and suffering which we all must endure, as we are part of creation and the great plan. Words can not replace the presence but know we do care and share in the loss of Jeff for all mankind. His smile remains a memory not to be forgotten.
