Chan Farrington

I earned my BS degree from the University of Arizona, I'm a Biology teacher that has never taught. I have worked for Phelps Dodge for 33 years, actually 32 and 1 year for Freeport McMoran. I can't beleive that we don't have PD anymore! I became a licened pilot in 1984, and have enjoyed flying since. I have raised 3 sons and 1 daughter(undoubtedly my biggest acheivement). Sharon and I are looking forward to retirement SOON!

I have so many memories of all of you at Morenci High! I remember putting chains on Gary Rains Station wagon and driving all over Morenci in the snow storm of 1967. I remember working on the Hughes Ranch with James Edd and Feller. I enjoyed all the sports trips, especially Ruben Cervantez immitation of Louis Armstrong. I remember a trip to Clifton before the Morenci-Clifton football game with Linda G. I don't know how we survived that night! I miss talking to Chris S. in Mrs. Arnold's class. Steve Benevitez, I challenge you to another round of golf. I had many great times with Jesse Smith, Jack Bradford, Phil Harris, Johnny Hunt, Gary Gale, Doug Day,and many more. Thanks for the memories!!
