For many of us from the Class of 1966 this will be a very sad update. Dianne was truly the main catalyst for most all of our class reunions and overall gatherings. She remained active and connected to our class from our earlier years at Alessandro Jr. High School up thru Moreno Valley High School and on to our many post graduation class reunions.

It was truly my honor to have known you, Dianne.

In school Dianne was a friend to everyone. And she continued that kindness after we graduated. Thank you Dianne for working on so many of our reunion committees. Your dedication to our class is appreciated. May you rest in peace. My condolences to the Hixson and deGarmo families.

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Dianne was a friend with an open heart and open arms. We could always pick right up where we left off, no matter how long between class reunions....time didn't matter. I was hoping to see her at one this year, but it wasn't meant to be. My heartfelt condolences to her family and I pray your memories of her love bring you peace and comfort.  Always remember the love~

Paul's tribute to Dianne's passing is a perfect description of her and her contributions to the Class of 66.

I was saddened to hear of Dianne's passing.  Dianne was always in my memories of Alessandro Jr High and MoVal.  Those were and will always be happy ones.  My condolences to her family and many friends.  Heaven has gained a beautiful heart.

Dianne was my first friend when we moved to Sunnymead in 6th grade. She was always so good to me and showed me the way. All through junior high and high school I watched her take care of people. She loved serving and being involved. We both named our girls Lisa. I always had that name chosen, but her Lisa came first, so I asked her if I could name my daughter Lisa too. We visited Dianne and Garry many times through the years and she never changed. I'm sure she's thrilled to be with Garry again. We love you Dianne.

It is with a very said heart to hear of my first girlfriend's passing. We had a lot of great memories. To just share a few of them we had a favorite song that she always reminded me of, which made me smile, 16 reasons why I love you. I remember at our last class reunion, I saw Diane and went over to say HI and she said who are you, and I said, I was your first boyfriend, and her response was ( STEVE ) at which  I smiled. It not pleasant to see friends deal with illnesses. Diane always would have a great smile, I and many others will always remember her for that. May GOD speed her to HIS arms,

We were neighbors and went to elementary school together.

Yes, she was wonderful to keep up with classmates and everyone she met. Our class was a one-in-a-million

group of people.  I'm so glad to have been one in the class.

The world needs more people like Dianne.

Steve, I can understand how you felt.  My sister Stacey was born in 1963 and as it got closer and closer to the due date Diane would inquire every morning, "Has she been born yet?"  I was touched by her genuine interest.  Stacey, who lives in the Moreno Valley area, drove me to our last reunion and I thought how great it would be to have Diane finally meet this long-awaited babe.  When I approached Diane to introduce her to Stacey she did not know who I was.  It was very sad.  Diane was a gem and I know many of us feel the same.
