Dedication to Gina
Gina without whose life ours would have meant so much less, her gift of life is beyond compare, the most priceless possession she owned. I am reminded of our times together, from the hummingbirds that frequented the Pines in our backyard, to the smell of the Pepper Tree. I will miss her, and will find comfort in life for she now surrounds us.
Be at peace, my little one.
All that is required is to look up, look out, and around you there are signs of her passing that way wherever you go. There is warmth and comfort in sunshine, there is joy in the song of a bird, there is peace in the twinkling starlit sky, there is strength in God's wonderful word. When your heart is filled with her presence, with the gladness she gave, others will find enrichment; too, because of the way she lived.

The following is a poem my son wrote to Gina in her final days. I gladly share it with you her friends.

Life is beautiful for all to see,
Living in it with all the cruelty.
Life is hard and living too,
But the experience is what is true.

When I see her I light up and smile,
She is my Aunt and it’s been awhile.
She knows me better than some of most,
I always talk of her, I brag and I boast.

She is a survivor, one with strong will,
These past few years have been an uphill.
Cancer is her enemy, the war that she’s in,
She’s battled for years with many wins,

Under her belt and she keeps on driving,
But with all our love it keeps on thriving.
She might have lost the war in this fable,
But her eyes still shine that beautiful blue.

Even after she’s gone in this physical time,
The loss of her will not be a crime.
Because she is with me in my heart,
And she’ll be waiting for me in the dark.

To bring me back to our family tree,
To be together again and set free.
Of all these physical ties that bind,
We are together forever and all of time.

Aunt Gina, I Love You!
I will never forget you,
& I do believe I will see you
Again one day.

Dearest Terry and Family,

My deepest sympathy...A loss of such a precious soul. Cancer is cruel, it takes from us all. I'm just so sorry I wasn't here sooner to talk to her before she was gone.
With warm regards to your entire family.

Oh my dear friend, this is such a beautiful picture of you.

I've often thought of you through the years since High School, and was so sorry we lost touch.

I remember being in the first grade with you at Sunnymead elementry, then going to Midland elementry, Alessandro the MVHS.

We spent the night at your sisters and hubby Tom's house,( Karen and her new baby or was she PG)...., took all of your friends in for a great slumber party! Then the times when we talked about Judy Webb and her 'powers' and don't fool w/her!! And we didn't...still don't. And all the other fun times we had 'hanging out together'.

I see you went on to have a happy life with a husband and child. You liked to garden and camp. I can see that in you...., I can only imagine how much your family must miss you. I've missed you so many times over the years and now to know you have gone, it makes me miss you so much more and soooo sad that we lost contact. You were quite often in my thoughts...

I know you are no longer in pain and that you're in the hands of the Lord where you will remain for eternity. Look down on us and know you are missed so much.

Till we meet again, my dear friend, you'll be in my heart and prayers always.

My condolences to Gina's family......I loved her too!
