As reported to me by Carol Tootell Todd (Class of ’67) jasmineshuman@gmail.com I am sad to report that my brother in law Dennis Brucks (Class of ’74,) passed away yesterday after a six month battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Ronnie Tootell, and his daughter Diana and son James along with numerous other family and friends. He was a very unique person and we were blessed to have him in our lives.
Dennis now resides back in the ranks with the others who proceeded him in the ‘Halls of Valhalla’ where he again can be young and innocent, a time all was well in our souls as we grew up in the ‘Val!”
Dennis will be missed by his friends and fellow classmates, for here he is “Forever Young!’

I am sad to hear this - I remember Dennis in Band - he was one of our Bass players (Brass, not string) and he was very good! I also remember Ronnie (Tootell) as well. Mr Ricci always had some sort of remark or three for Dennis during morning rehearsals, all in fun, I am sure.
