Hanging out with Ann Bentley at Hardees, and being in the band. The hot marching in the summer was well worth the payoff....our band rocked!! I also loved being in Drama and participating in the productions. Once Mandy Handsel and I skipped and spent the day at the mall. The next day Mr Lindsay called me into his office and asked me what I got him for xmas while at the mall..... I miss him and our own "Joe Cool".

I very good friend, Spanky Davidson, had joined the marines. I wanted to follow in his footsteps, but upon arriving at the reqruiters office and getting a "out to lunch" sign the Air Force next door invited me in. I spent 10 years touring the world with Japan as my first home at 18. I embraced my military duties and became a decorated NCO quickly. I met my husband, also an Air Force veteran who died last Aug., while stationed in Los Angeles. We named our daughter L.A. Reese. After the Gulf War I moved to Panama City Beach Florida where I lived for 16 years and became a nurse. It was a wonderful beach to raise my children. My son graduated high school in '08 and my daughter a Who's Who graduate attends Florida State on a scholarship. GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!! I am currently studying Law, which I find fasinating. Guess I saw too many episodes of Law and Order....LOL.

The biggest change I would say is the realization of just how precious life is. I live everyday like it is my last. I often practice random acts of kindness. I partied a lot in high school. Acted out, I'm sure now, for negative attention. Hey!! We all gotta grow up sometime!

Thank you Russ for allowing me to comment and Doug Criswell for sending me your class link. I was class of '80, but remember alot of the '79 class. My sister, Donna Woodruff graduated in '79, but at a H.S. in GA. She is an RN in S.F. CA, and my brother Chuck Woodruff, class of '81 lives in Jacksonville with his wife and 4 children.
