When I hear the song "We are the Champions" I remember riding with Mary Lynne in the "Blue Magoo" 1965 Malibu after we won a football game with the windows down and the music blasting and singing at the top of our lungs for everyone to hear. WE WON!

For 22 years I focused on my very athletic children and every sporting event in Stanley! In 1993 I began working at Stanley Total Living Center as the bookkeeper. In 2002 I decided to go back to college (while working full time). I graduated from Belmont Abbey in December 2007 and am now attending UNCC earning by Master's Degree to be used toward my CPA (and I'm STILL working full time---whew I'm exhausted). I'll finish December 2009. I hope to remain employed in a non-profit environment even after I finish my CPA.

Kevin and his wife, Julia, are expecting a baby boy in January 2009. Tyler's son, Harrison, (my first grandchild), was born October 2007. Brooke received her Master's degree from Wingate in 2008 and is now assistant women's basketball coach at Mars Hill.

I met the love of my life a few years ago, Randy Bryant, and we got married in the Colorado Mountains in 2005, and will live happily ever after in Mt. Holly.
