The Sports Year of 78-79 was something I will never forget.

I was fortunate enough to stay close to home. I spent 20 years in Charlotte but have now moved back across the river.......

Before children while working for an Engineering Firm I also moonlighted as a bouncer at several different clubs in Charlotte. It gave me a good perspective of life in clubs. It was fun then but you could not pay me enough to do that these days.

Mrs. Tedder and Mr. Dellinger. But of course Coach Adams, Keaton, Smith and Van Dyke. Shawn remember locking Van Dyke in the bus bathroom on the way back from the Asheville Baseball game?????

Richard Wooten, Tracy Skidmore, Todd Kitchen, Tracy Byers, Steve Ward, Tim Bingham and Terry Clippard. We all lived in the same neighborhood and pretty much spent everyday in the summer together......

Life was so much more simple back then......
Most of you know my mom so here's her update. She finally retired from EG in 2002 after 30 years in Gaston County Schools (25 at EG). She is enjoying looking after her Great Grand Children and is still very active in Church.
