After graduation, I worked at Bandag through the summer and started classes at MCC in the fall. I received my A.A. in Business from MCC in 1990. I started classes at the U of I in the fall majoring in Accounting. I decided that I didn't like numbers as much as I thought so I changed it to Human Resources and received my B.B.A. in 1992.
I started dating my husband, Tim, the summer after my junior year of college. Anyway, after I graduated from the U of I, I started working at Central State Bank in various capacities, ultimately becoming a Trust Assistant. Tim graduated from St. Ambrose and was a police officer in Wilton for about a year and then was hired in Muscatine in 1994. We were married in October of that year.
I left the bank in 1997 for better opportunities at Bandag (now called Bridgestone Bandag). Presently, I am a Manufacturing Analyst in the Retread Manufacturing group. Tim is a Lieutenant in the Detective Bureau for the Muscatine Police Department. We have two children, Cody and Courtney. Tim and I keep busy spending time with family, friends and our kids' activities.
