I graduated with an AA at MCC in 1995 and a BA in Early Childhood Ed./minor in E.C. Special Ed at UNI in 1998. I met my husband while at UNI and we married in 1999 and have lived in Muscatine since then. I worked at Head Start in Muscatine as a preschool teacher for 2 years before staying at home with our two boys, now 7 and 4. My husband is a city boy through and through as he grew up in Chigago, but has been adjusting to a smaller city for the past nine years. He works as a community liaison at Lutheran Services in Iowa working with middle school and high school youth and also teaches at MCC. I have enjoyed staying at home with our boys and being close to family and friends, both old and new.
