I'm not so sure on the grandbaby thing. After this experience with kids, I'm afraid they will be twice as bad. Let's hope I don't have to take that chance any time soon.

We're off to New Orleans in the morning. Anyone know what road we should take? Too bad I don't have gps. Oh well, I might see you all later this week. Don't start the party without me!!!

I wasn't sure about grand kids at first, now that we have 3 with the 4th on the way, they're a lot of fun. I like to hype them up on Mountain Dew and M M's and then send them home. Ah! Good Times!

JB, The last time we went to New Orleans we took I40 over to Mississippi and then went straight down. I can't remember which road we took once in Mississippi, but it was 4 lane most all of the way.

I think we'll go south on 69 and veer off at McAlester toward Shreveport. It might not be the best route but Ryan hasn't seen Shreveport either so it's going to be an adventure. And I think on the way back we're going through AR and stopping at the diamond field to hunt for diamonds. Our vacations are pretty open ended.

Ryan's in the shower as I type so we're almost on our way. I probably won't talk to you all before Wed or Thursday so have a good weekend!! Wish us luck!

Oklahoma State University. They were playing in the big 12 basketball tournament. my daughter graduated from there.

New Orleans is wild! And the houses are so wonderful. I can see how this place would be lots of fun with a group of friends. Ryan sure was hoping to see some flashing for beads. No luck tonight. Unless you count a 20something guy.

Jim Flusche Spoke to Judy Hewitt and her surgery was a success as she DOES NOT have cancer. She will be in the hospital 3-5 days and then back home. Prayers answered and hope everyone is doing great. Keep in touch.

I got that good news text about Judy about an hour ago! It's the best birthday news I've gotten today.
And thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes. We're having a good time in N.O. It's still raining off and on but that didn't stop us from going back to the French Quarter with Tresa and Richard Davis. I wish all of you were here!
