Happy belated birthday Joanie!!!

And glad to hear the good news regarding Judy!

Chris James

Great new for Judy!
JB, happy birthday. Hope you're enjoying the Easy.

BTW, in honor of St Paddy's day, I'm wearing a Green Thong!

03/17/09 01:31 PM #2316

Steve Wright

Muskogee Rougher green I would assume?

Didn't you have that in 1978?

And so the descent into madness begins.

For some of us, madness is an uphill climb.

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

Good point, Mr. Boling

Tim Walters!!!!
Happy Birthday!!!!!

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

Well this is disappointing! I was expecting pages of posts to catch up on when I got home. Surely you people didn't have anything better to do this week.

Thanks for the b-day wishes, guys. I had a great time. I can't remember the last time I was home on my birthday. Since it's always spring break, I'm always gone someplace. And we all know what special birthday next year will be. Plus, next year Ryan will be 21! Two monumental birthdays at once. I doubt he'll want to hang out with me next year.

New Orleans was a fun place. A little dirty, but fun. We both ended up getting sick there. I think it was just allergies. The news stations kept talking about the huge increase in asthma and allergy cases since the storm. I imagine they have a little bit of a mold problem.

On the way back we drove through Memphis and I thought Beale Street looked like a really fun place! Someone really does need to get married or divorced over there so we can all go for a party.

03/19/09 11:15 AM #2323

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

Glad you're back, Joanie. I only wish I had been busy doing fun things instead of useless posts...

03/19/09 11:47 AM #2324

Tama Brantley

did i read posts saying that joanie saw chris performing marriages & divorces on a "dirty" street in memphis while he was wearing a moldy green thong from 1978? oh my... :o

happy very belated birthday joanie! :>

03/19/09 12:23 PM #2325

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

All was good until you got to the 'moldy green thong' part, Tama. I hate it when he puts those images in my mind.

Julie, doing nothing is a great thing to do on spring break. Surely you haven't been working one of your other jobs this week.

Did you all read the update that Andrea and Jimmy get to come home for a visit between treatments? I'm sure this will be a much needed break from Houston.

03/19/09 01:26 PM #2326

Chris James

LOL@Tama.
JB, I didn't hear any FIGJAM's from you about Tunica. No way you were that close and didn't go drop a dime or two.

I saw Andrea and Jimmy yesterday at her mother in laws funeral. I had to leave and didn't get to visit with her, but did talk to Jimmy and he looked great.

BTW, Memphis is coming to Muskogee next week............................FIGJAM!!!!

03/19/09 03:00 PM #2327

Tama Brantley

joanie & chris - i didn't read the post about andrea & jimmy so thanks for re-stating it! i'm sorry to hear about andrea's mom-in-law and elated that jimmy is doing well...God works miracles!

chris - some helpful hints....clean up the crack house (including the potties) wash your sheets and take down all the "pre-memphis" memorabilia before next week (this includes disturbing photos of you with monkies & midgets!) oh and puhleeze don't serve steel reserve or cheap vino!

03/19/09 03:08 PM #2328

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

Joanie, I didn't work any job at all this week! It's almost been decadent...except for all the errands I crammed into 5 short days.

Tama, I wonder if cheap vino and Steel Reserve are Chris' secret weapons to get Memphis to Muskogee?

Speaking of which, I'll be in the vicinity tomorrow--going to Ft. Gibson to visit the family

03/19/09 03:27 PM #2329

Chris James

Steel Reserve 211 is an upgrade for her. She's a waffle house skank that drinks PBR.

Tama, I did buy a 12ver of SR211 from your brother the other day. Damn, that stuff is up to 7.49 a 12.......aaaaarrrrrrggggg!!!

03/19/09 03:41 PM #2330

Kenny Boling

Seven hundred and forty-nine dollars????

what the $^&**&^$#????

03/19/09 05:04 PM #2331

Chris James

WTF?
:)

03/19/09 07:46 PM #2332

Tresa Reeder (Davis)

We just got in from gulfport. the beach was great and the weather was warm and the gambling sucked!

We really enjoyed New Orleans with Joanie and Ryan. thanks for letting us tag along. JB is a great tour guide.

Do I hear party next saturday to meet memphis????

03/19/09 09:55 PM #2333

Chris James

If we have a party this week (Friday), maybe Memphis and I will show up.

Glad ya'll had fun. Sorry the casino action sucked.

03/19/09 10:34 PM #2334

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

Does Memphis know you call her a skank? Maybe that's a term of affection for those who drink PBR

03/19/09 10:40 PM #2335

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

What time is Memphis scheduled to arrive? I want to be parked across from the crack house early enough to see this.

I'm up for a party or meeting to eat/drink/be merry. Let me know! Julie, are you staying at your mom's all night or just dropping by?

03/19/09 11:30 PM #2336

Tresa Reeder (Davis)

Friday or saturday is good for anything!!!

03/20/09 10:02 AM #2337

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

Just dropping by, Joanie...Dylan and his girl are going with me...

03/20/09 10:12 AM #2338

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

Have a good visit, Julie. My oldest gave me the cold shoulder when I got home from our trip. I think he was a little miffed that we didn't even tell him we were going anyplace. I got him a really cute shirt from a bar in N.O. and he's wearing it today so maybe he'll get over it soon.
