Wendell Bell

Wendell Hoyt Bell, Jan. 3, 1942 to April 6, 2008. Wendell died at his home in Napa after a lengthy illness. Wendell was born in Wisconsin and moved with his family to Napa when he was an infant.

Wendell worked as a contractor and carpenter and also worked as a pipefitter at Mare Island.

Wendell is survived by one son, David of Sacramento; three step-children, Anthony of Napa, Kenneth of Benicia and Deborah of Kenniwick, Wash.; brother, Evan of Bakersfield; sisters, Avis Kreglo and husband John of Sacramento, Mary Sanderson and Husband Jack of Lakeport, and Dorothy and Judith Bell of San Jose; sisters-in-law, Lily Bell of Napa and Shirley Pehan of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Lyndsee, Lauren and Derek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wendell was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Lulamae Bell of Napa; brothers, Don, Dwight, Douglas and Charles of Napa and sister, Arlene Lillifield of Martinez.
