Oakland, OR - Barbara Lee Olson, a resident of Oakland, OR since 1991 passed away at her home on Aug 20, 1998. She was 56.

A former resident of Napa since 1947, Barbara attended Napa schools graduating from Napa High School in 1960. Barbara returned to school and graduated from Napa College in 1980 with an associate of science degree in respiratory therapy.

Barbara married Dennis A. Olson in 1961. They were married 37 years and raised two daughters, Laura Brown of Napa and Denise Olson of Oakland, OR.

Barbara enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and drawing. She was an active member of the Roseburg Women of the Moose since 1994. She was also an active volunteer with the Oakland Elementary School since 1995.

Barbara enjoyed many things, but her family and grandson, Justin were #1 in her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Associations.
