Sandra Louise Hall, 48, died unexpectedly Friday (Mar 1, 1991) at Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Sandra was born in Portsmouth, VA on May 15, 1942 to Gerald and Emily (Manchester) Dodd. The following year the family returned to California and moved to Napa where she was raised and educated. Her family had four generations of California natives.
Sandra graduated from Napa High School in 1960, moved to San Leandro in 1962 and to Memphis, TN in 1966. She returned to Napa in 1980.
She was active in Napa Girls Softball league and was a member of Jobe's Daughters Bethel No 185 of Napa during and following her high school years.
She was also a member of Silver Spray Chapter No 59 O.E.S. of Napa, Sew and Sew Club, Napa Valley Travelers and Parents Without Partners.
Sandra is survived by two sons, David Hall of Southaven, MS and Darren Hall of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Denise Tate of Memphis, TN; her mother, Emily Dodd of Napa; two brothers, Gerry Dodd and Jim Dodd, both of Napa; one granddaughter; and four nieces and two nephews. Her father passed away in 1981 and a brother Dale Dodd, died in 1986.
Interment will be at Tulocay Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Napa Valley, the American Cancer Society, 1732 Jefferson St, Ste 1, Napa, CA 94558 or a charity of the donor's choice.
