Hardie worked many years as a rigger for Mare Island and eventually retired there. He loved fishing and woodworking. Hardie was a wonderful father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Hardie was survived by his mother, Ollie Doshier; daughters, Annette (Michael) Swars, Brenda Doshier; son, Roger (Melody) Aboaf; grandchildren, Brittany Mee, Julianna Swars, Daniel, Daisy and Nicholas Aboaf; great-grandson, Preston Mee.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 1, 2014, at Bryan-Baker Funeral Home 1850 W. Texas St. Fairfield, Calif.
